Well as said, I'd like to apply as Beta tester. I haven't done any Beta testing befor, but for everything there's a first time.

Did you send an e-mail to support@aerosoft.com as these will be sorted very soon.

Sorry, this will be for FSX only. Most of what is shown simply is not possible in FS2004 because it does not allow the textures. Even if it would be possible it would be too slow to use.

Thing change over time. Roughly spoken the market for FS2004 is about 1/5 that of FSX scenery and it is hard to justify the additional cost for such a small market.
And please, let's not repeat the whole FSX and FS2004 discussion as a follow up on this.

I want to draw you a perfect picture so everybody would start to dribble: FSX... You are on the tarmac in Corfu firing up your new Aersoft's CRJ (NGX, when they start selling it) bound to the new LGAV which you got as a boxed copy made by FT............. And REX :D

Beta test is starting very soon, and we do believe that no major problems will show up. Hence, while an exact date cannot be given, release is planned very soon.

LGKR runway has been given a 'face-lift' in real-life recently, and we thought to treat it similarly by introducing some higher definition

textures.

Don't you think that the textures are getting to good? The textures beside the runway look really boring now. If you make an update to the visuals of the runway (apron?) you need to update at least the textures which could be seen when you are on this HD surface to a similar quality!

No, I mean the textures directly next to the runway.

Here you can see what I mean:

I do see what you mean.  I can tell you however that in-game, the resolution contrast is not eye-catching

The resolution of the photoreal imagery available for that region however is not too good and a custom texture there would not look that nice either.

But your point is a good one, so will try to work on it a bit more.

Thanks :)

Thank you for taking care about my point.

BTW, is the runway placed correctly? Because I can see those white stripes next to the runway, which are also on the runway texture.

Yes the runway is geo-referenced to the actual LGKR runway. Your observation however is correct. This issue is photoreal editing which has been fixed.  ;)

A assume you are using REX, are you? Which theme are you using for the sunset?

One other question: The textures of the street look pretty unclear, could you remake the street and the textures of the street and the surrounding area using the method you used for making the apron and such things where you used HD textures? That would make it look even better than it does now!

I do have REX on and the theme is Caribbeanmon. ENB series is also running to improve global lighting.

Regarding the streets, we do have custom textures in the scene, but extending these further out might cause some FPS issues. However, we might include a larger region with the option to turn off in our performance tool.
