Actually we are doing very little on this project, lol.

We agree it is very frustrating, but the problem simply is what it is, we need a few weeks of work done and need to wait until Hans got the time for that. FS is not his main job.

No, we completed the modeling of the VC and we do not intend to add more to it. Because of the way the cockpit is layed out and the complexity of the systems it would also not be a good idea for FPS. The Airbus is modeled with new technology and we got some fps to spare there.

Mr. Mathijs Kok reffered to him as "Hans". But I do sincerely oppologize to you, Mr. KLM737, because I don't know who "Hans" is and therefore reffered to him as "this Hans guy". I guess because of that I'm impatient and disrespectful to all the people who put hundreds of hours in such a project. I am truly sorry. I just hope you treat yourself the same if you don't know everything.

As you've stated before, he's doing quite well in his career, and I'm getting the impression he develops just whenever he feels like it. He knows he's way late, but does he even care?

This is the Digital Avaition Fokker VC debacle all over again, although thankfully this time we didn't put down money in advance for it.

It's such a shame because Hans is obviously a very talented developer. The Fokker was my favourite FS9 addon with the Level D 767. As I only use a VC in FSX, I don't use the Fokker anymore.

If this CRJ is ever released, I'm sure it will be up there with the best and I will buy it without hesitation. However, I'm not holding my breath for this....

I don't have it, but you SEEM to get a CRJ with a *full functional* FMC. Whether that's right or not I don't know, but for 25€ that's not so bad at all, isn't it?

I do appreciate that this situation with the CRJ has to be extremely frustrating for Aerosoft, as much as it is for all of us who are prospective customers. Thank you for staying on top of the situation and keeping us informed as best as you can. I am just curious if there is anything Aerosoft could do on its end to expedite the project toward completion in any way. If Hans is too busy to finish the CRJ, perhaps Aerosoft could offer to buy him out for the work he has invested in the CRJ, and then hire or staff some programmers to finish the CRJ? I don't know how feasible something like this would be, but I just hate to see this project in limbo when it clearly has great potential to be the best CRJ product out there.

If I worked on a project for years and wanted to be the main guy that made it possible for the release then someone came in and bought me out I would be hesitant. I'm sure if he accepted then he would want to lay out some rules on the money situation.

Aerosoft became involved with this project a couple of years ago, but the CRJ development by Digital Aviation was mentioned way back in 2004. There are some pics here. For those like me that have been waiting since 2004, it would be nice finally get a quality CRJx. Wish you success Aerosoft.

Hello Mathijs, I know this has been asked before and that there is currently no plan on making a CRJ-200 in near future. Well I was falling over this link posted by David Vega and I was thinking whether you could figure out whether Hans still has this model and then add this CRJ-200 to the CRJ-700/-900 series, I wouldn't mind if they would come with the same cockpit (well different Flight dynamics would be nice) there are only small differences between the 700/-900 cockpit to the -200 (not refferring to any systems in the aircraft).
I've been working in maintenance area for the CRJ-100/-200 series and the airline that I used to work for sadly now went bankruptcy (long story, but not their fault) and I know some captains that have more than 15 years of experience on the CRJ-200 and I bet they would gladly help you with the flight dynamics.
Another thing, I know the owner and CEO of Turbine Sound Studios and I could maybe arrange that he would offer his CRJ-200 engine sound set for use with this?

Sorry about Cimber Sterling, I was in EKCH a week after the event and saw all the planes lined up on a taxiway. I almost booked to Billund with them, so I'm glad I didnt' get caught out. I thought someone else was stepping in to start things up?

As to your question: it would be nice if the -200 was in the deal. Reminds me of the decision to leave out the A319 for the other package. Odd omissions both.
