welldo 0
After a few interesting weeks getting to know the airbus and feeling ok with everything I have experienced an uncontrollable nose/tail oscillation in the cruise. Cycling at about 90cpm speed falls to near critical level, the autopilot stays on but the aircraft climbs out of the set altitude and then descends rapidly. Cutting the AP makes control difficult. I eventually restored stability by descending from FL310 to about FL200. My weather is Active Sky and turbulence was enabled, I disabled this but it didn't make any difference (perhaps it won't without a reboot?). I'll see what tomorrow brings but I thought this was worth reporting and any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks I'm running P3Dv4.3.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted October 10, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted October 10, 2018 Almost certainly caused by loss of FPS.
welldo 0
Mathijs, Just taken off from LOWI and got the same oscillation in a manual climb. FPS 20, is there a minimum recommended FPS for the Bus? Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted October 11, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted October 11, 2018 Something between 15 and 20 will be fine. Still the most obvious cause is low fps, perhaps only in short periods. I suggest confirming this by useing the lowest scenery settings.
