mid flight or taxi power loss

Hi M,

I am not angry by the way (as you suggested- I have no idea how you came to that conclusion - precisely the opposite) but enthusiastic about your product and trying to help me and others (and perhaps you?)...

so... again

multiple sudden black screens on taxi or while in flight. pfd mfd ecam… all. in taxi engines also fail. no xx.xxx but temp readings look like fuel failure. possible to recover after APU restart (OVHD buttons also inoperative so this is a guess) then APU bleed the E2 E1. FMS data all lost.

in flight (separate to above and independently) the same can occur, but engines "sound" (remember no ECAM) ok.

Dave,

Yes carenado SF34. I should delete?

No sir, unless you don't fly it anymore.  There is a fix for this in their forums... basically, it's their copyright protection causing a CTD if their texture is called for an AI Aircraft.

Best wishes.

Hi M,

I may have found my problem Sir. I have a Saitek Pro with throttles and I have mixture and propeller axes (for a turboprop..) assigned in P3D. I also had automixture off. putting mixture and prop full/100 and setting automixture to auto in p3d I may have solved it. I will confirm after a few more flights M.

Kind Regards

Niall

I was just walking and thinking about the mistake.

I set up my ezdoc cam before each flight where the error occurred.
After updating to 1.2.1.0 I always had to change something.
The second flight has always worked because I have changed nothing more on the Ezdoc Cam.
The first flight was the 320 and the second was the 319
To program the cam I use the key (E)
I have to press (E)to start the programming and then (E) again to finish.
Maybe the error comes from this button.
Have now changed the key to (+)
That's just a guess

One Question more. In my FMC the ZFCG is not working. Always orange Boxes.

Hello Frank,

We and other developers have seen problems caused by EZDoc that at first one would never believe that EZDoc was the culprit, but it turned out it was.

Regarding your ZFCG value, are you double clicking the LSK (Line Select Key) next to the ZFCG entry or entering the value manually?

By the way, we often see people refer to an MCDU as an FMC, so I created a post (see below) that helps explain this a little better.

I will test it the next few days if I have time.
Of course, I'll tell you the result of my test.

After only one user had the problem synonymous.

Can also be a small bug in the Airbus.

Hallo Dave and  Mathijs

I just wanted to report that at the moment no flights
more errors have occurred with the power loss Problem.
I think that it probably had to do with my Ezdoc setting Keys and the Bus..

After i change my Settings in Ezdoc i have no Problems.

Ezdoc works perfect with my  Airbus Prof.
If there is an error again I will report it.

I too had a total power loss in the A318 (BA livery) on flight EINN-KJFK. Just abeam Boston approx 40 miles TOD. The FOB showed 2.8 tonnes and there had been no issues during the 6 hour flight. I dont use Ezdok in P3D v4 and scenery is default. First indication was N1 in the ecam oscillating up and down. Electrics,Apu and start switches no response. Not even the battery switches.

Have flown busses since the original airbus extended and never seen this before.

Very strange.
