EdS1945 1
Just noticed in the updater that a new version for the A318/319 is available (ver 1.00.1) However when I click on "update select product", I get the message "ASUpdater has stopped working" Any ideas ? Thanks Ed
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 13, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 13, 2018 Can confirm this. We will have a look on it. As you can see from the release notes displayed in the updater this was only a test anyway.
teaarmy 16
Is there any place with a change log or will it be a text file anywhere in the Airbus folder? btw why is it even possible to write into the textbox in the updater?
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 13, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 13, 2018 The update displays the release notes. The test has been removed in the meantime btw. 3 minutes ago, teaarmy said: btw why is it even possible to write into the textbox in the updater? Thats just a standard Windows text control. Obviously a read only flag is not set, but that is of no priority at all

Sauriabl 0
Hello, asupdater doesn´t work on my system. I tried everything. Windows event manager tell me that kernelbase.dll caused the crash. I also made a new installation of my video-card drivers. I re-installed the busses. Nothing helps. The strange thing is that i have version 1.1.0.0 of asupdater. I think i read here in this forum that newer version exists, or is that wrong? Where can i get this??? I hope somebody can help me. Thank you. Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted July 20, 2018 Developer Share Posted July 20, 2018 The Updater should automatically update itself to 1.1.3. Your description sounds like this self-updating procedure goes wrong. Please run this program: ASVersionInfo_102.7z and post the results here. It creates a version summary of Windows, .NET Framework, DirectX and various flight simulators on your system. It should help us to find out what's going on. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 25, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted July 25, 2018 We are looking at this issue Sauriabl, but it is not easy. We have had over 20.000 updates completed with success and it fails on a few systems. We need to find out what is wrong on those systems.
Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted July 25, 2018 Developer Share Posted July 25, 2018 We don't really have a solution for your problem, @Sauriabl, so we're going an alternative way. Attached to this post is the latest version of ASUpdater (1.1.4). Simply unzip it to Documents\Aerosoft\ASUpdater and overwrite the existing files. Let us know if that works for you.
