Viperlead 23
I just managed to get the brakes up to 450 C and noticed that the brake fan PB indeed lighted with the hot anunciation. But at the SD WHEEL page the individual brake temp indication were all green without green arc on top of them. The indication should be amber. Just FYI, maybe you already know it Lovin it already. Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted July 13, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 13, 2018 Hi, might be a bug. Will be investigated.
MatthiasKNU 130
Hi everybody! I've noticed that, too. There should also be a warning in ECAM that looks like this: Please login to display this image.
Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted July 13, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 13, 2018 The ECAM message is already on the list. Also the amber arc is now on the list.

agwaite 22
I get the ECAM message although I think it triggered at over 600oC, I believe it should trigger at 300. Not sure how viable it is to have a brake glow such as the PMDG777, but it would be a nice addition if possible. Please login to display this image. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 21, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted July 21, 2018 We do not plan to make the brakes glow as we model a carbon brake type (note they get more effective as they get hot) and you really need to get into serious problems before you see them glow. Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted July 23, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 23, 2018 I will close this topic for now. Because we model carbon brakes, this might be interesting: https://www.iata.org/whatwedo/ops-infra/training-licensing/Documents/best-practices-for-carbon-brakes-application_Airbus.pdf
