Quint van den Hazel 0
Hello all, I have a problem with Heathrow Professional. In my scenery, there are missing/weird ground textures. Is there a fix for this problem? Kind regards, Quint van den Hazel

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted June 22, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 22, 2018 13 hours ago, data63 said: "missing or weird" is hard to track Exactly, without a detailed description of your problem, help is not possible. So please: - post a screenshot of your problem (jpg or png) - post a screenshot your scenery library, so that we can see where EGLL is located - tell us whether you have any Orbx stuff installed
Quint van den Hazel 0
I have weird texture problems. data63 421
ORBX or any traffic addon? - looks definitly like an interfering file (elevation or sth. like that)
Miguel_V 14
Your problem may be because of the PREVALENCE of a SCENERY on another, this is solved with the application P3DV4 Addon Organizer, if you know how to use it for Organizer the LAYER of SCENERYs installed

Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted May 1, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 1, 2019 No need for any additional tool. Just post the requested screenshots of your scenery library and answer Otto's and Jürgen's other questions. And by the way: just attach the screenshots as jpg or png to your post here. No need to use any external "print screen service".
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted May 1, 2019 Developer Share Posted May 1, 2019 Maybe you can try this here: Could also help in your case for the Professional Version in P3D V4.

data63 421
check your ORBX folders for any bgl-files containing EGLL. also try to temporarily disable GSX (2) - mayby that "exlude" in layer 7 is the culprit
Quint van den Hazel 0
Please login to display this image. I have this EGLL bgl in the ORBX folder, but should i delete that one>
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted May 1, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 1, 2019 Don't delete, just add something on the end of the file name like .OFF so it reads ABP_EGLL.bgl.OFF . I like to use caps for the extra extension so they catch my eye better. However, you can use anything after the .bgl to deactivate the file to test for a fix, or just put it in a temporary folder somewhere you can remember
Quint van den Hazel 0
I did that Herman, But I don't solve it. May I ask? Are those settings should be like this? Please login to display this image.
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted May 2, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2019 The "FTX entries should be inserted below" should have your last non-Orbx add-on scenery listed rather than "Default Scenery". For example, if the screenshot of your scenery library happened to show all such add-ons, the text after the "FTX entries should be inserted below" would show "Jetstream Designs LFML X 2013 P3Dv4". Quint van den Hazel 0
Well, I still have the problem
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted May 2, 2019 Developer Share Posted May 2, 2019 As you seams to have ignored my previous post, here once again: - First check in the Scenery Library, if the lowest entry at the end of the List is the "Default Terrain", that it is check (active) and points to the "Scenery\World" Folder of the P3D - The unzip the attached File (AFX_EGLL_ALT.BGL) into the Scenery\World\Scenery Subfolder which is below your P3D Maindirectory - Doublecheck that in the Scenery\World\Scenery Subfolder is no other file with *EGLL* in his name. Unpack into P3D - Scenery - World - Scenery folder.zip
Quint van den Hazel 0
The topic didn't help. And I did what you said OPabst. But i still have the problem
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 2, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2019 I do not see this problem. So please check again whether there are any files outside the EGLL installation folder with EGLL in its name. The searchstring should look like this : *egll*.bgl
Quint van den Hazel 0
I did that moppele, But there are no duplicated files. All EGLL files are in the EGLL installation folder, or in the orbx folder and in the scenery\world scenery\folder. Maybe the zip file with the EGLL installtion in there. Maybe that one is corrupted? Can you look into that?

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 2, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2019 Dont know what to look at. The installation here went fine, and it is very very unlikely that a singel file is broken. Maybe you should consider af fresh install of P3D and your addons. Probably something you do not want to here, but our experience tells us that this is the only solution in most cases as the sim got messed up somehow. Happens e.g. when updating P3D without doing a fresh install. If you do a frsh install, install P3D and EGLL only. To see if it works then.
