thomas747400 0
Hi, I was always under the impression that SIMstarter can only run on a PC hosting the flight sim platform. I have just noticed the below post (now closed) indicating that it is indeed possible to run SIMstarter on a separate PC. I installed SIMstarter on my instructor station but when launching SIMstarter, I get a pop up message asking me to select a flight sim platform. Is there a way to select a sim platform running on a separate PC on the same LAN? That would be very handy for cockpit builders as the FS PC/ screen is often not very accessible. Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted May 6, 2018 Developer Share Posted May 6, 2018 Hi Thomas, I am using it myself in a HC Environment. There is no real way to install and use it with 100% functionality on a instructor station. I have to rework to SIMstarter NG Client to make this happen. But can't commit any date... Sorry. I am running it on the SIM-PC.
