Having watched many YouTube 'cold star' videos, they all start by switching on the 'EXT PWR' on the main panel. No matter what I try and do the External Power will not switch on and still remain in darkness. I even tried the Bat 1 and 2 as well and they do not illuminate. What am I doing wrong? If no external power is available and plugged in, switch positions won't have any effect, just like trying to turn on an unplugged lamp. Also, at least one complete recent run-through of the tutorial will be a big help to you. No matter how long you're used an add-on, you can often still pick up useful tips that way.
