SID is loaded incomplete

Recommended Posts

Hello to everyone,

I made an observation concerning the loading of SIDs at Tegel airport (EDDT):

I use the current AIRAC cycle (1802rev1) provided by Navigraph for the Digital Aviation CRJ 700/900. The data is loaded into the FMC of the CRJ (the correct date of the cycle is shown in monitor of the FMC).

Now I choose a SID for one of the runways. For example: BKT6L for runway 26L. The FMC now only loads a short route containing the waypoint "RW" which is the first waypoint of the SID and exclusive for runway 26L. However, according to the charts there are several waypoints that are missing (DT262 TUBRI BKD). I took a closer look into the .txt-file provided by Navigraph (located here: root2P3Dv4\Ecosystem\aerosoft\Digital Aviation CRJ\NavData\PROC\EDDT.txt). I guess the problem is that only the SID-fragment "26L" is loaded and not the missing part "ALL" (see below). The problem occurs on other EDDT SIDs that are stored in the same format as shown below (e.g. BRAN2N). I guess if the SID is provided completely (which is the case at other airports) no problems occur.

For me it is not clear if the file format provided by Navigraph is corrupted or if the CRJ is not reading the file correctly. But I thought it is worth to inform you about the situation/observation.

Best regards and thank you very much for further information or a fix (if it's a bug, I don't know) in the future!

Martin

Reported months ago but no news...

Use the db from Aerosoft instead and procedures will be rights.

We'll test it with the last build.

Thanks for handeling the problem and sorry for reporting a potentially already known issue. :-)
