Atexasmale 0 Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I am using sim Brief to generate flight plans for the CRJ 700 / 900, loading the flt.plan into Documents>/Aerosoft/Digital Aviation CRJ/FlightPlans. but when I try to load the flt plan i get a load error. winged532 5 Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I use Simbrief for all my CRJ flightplans without any problems. Here is how I do it. I generate the flightplan normally with Simbrief and then analyze the route to make sure it is valid. Then I select "Generate OFP" Then I click on "download FMS" button which generates a new page of options. Click on the "download" button for the Aerosoft CRJ. A new box will appear at the bottom of the screen with options to "open" "save", or "cancel. Do not click on any of these but rather click on the up arrow next to "Save" which will give you the option to "Save As". where a new explorer window will let you navigate to Documents>/Aerosoft/Digital Aviation CRJ/FlightPlans. Save it. The flightplan will be saved in the format EGLLEHAM which is exactly what you will enter in the flightplan space in the FMS.
