Guest
Hello, yesterday night I purchased a NDP Charts Cycle (One Year Access). When I looked through the charts today, to learn a bit and to get used to them, I noticed, that some of the charts are from June 2017. But I thought, the charts would be updated every month. Did I read something wrong, or have there just not been made any changes to the real life charts? I don´t know. But that´s my first NDP purchase so please don´t downvote me just because I don´t know the charts that goot yet. Regards
Emi 5161
Hi, the affected charts have simply not been update in real life since the date stated on the chart. Charts only get updated if there are actual changes to the procedures/obstacles/variation, etc. and these do not occure each and every month. Therefore it may very well happen that some charts are a year old or older while others are brand new. There are plenty of ways how to ensure you have the current chart. Some airlines that still use papercharts for example have a cover on top of each "package" which states the current dates. Thus it's easy to check if your chart is current. Most airlines however use electronic charts, there you simply run an update before each day of flying and the system will ensure you get the current charts, so you don't need to worry about the dates anymore. In our case each chart you use is downloaded from the server and we always ensure you have the latest charts available at all times.
