Never the less the engines will not start. I have gone step by step through the tutorial to make sure I haven't missed anything, and they will not start. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the CRJ, P3D v4.1 client, P3D v.4.1 content. The only way to get them to start is to select "Ready for Taxi" from Dave. Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted December 14, 2017 Developer Share Posted December 14, 2017 Can you post a screenshot of the second EICAS display from just before you try to start the engines please?

Sure. It's below. When I press L-ENG-R start nothing happens. Please login to display this image.
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted December 16, 2017 Developer Share Posted December 16, 2017 I don't see now immediate issue except that you (if this is Ready to Start Engines) get way less EICAS message than I do. It's also weird that the N1 indicators don't show "TO" and the matching calculated N1 numbers. Can you explain how exactly you got to the situation in your screenshot? That might help finding the reason (and a solution as well). Here's how my CRJ looks with "Ready to start Engines" (FSX as well as P3D v4.1): Please login to display this image. jimst57 5
If I get time today I'll try to make a short video. Last night, when in this situation, I switched the vehicle to the Bonanza stock plane and then switched back to the CRJ it worked. My normal situation is the P3D start screen loading with the Bonanza, then I select the CRJ and begin.

jimst57 5
I've have found a way to make it work. 1. Load the Bonanza fully first. (not just in the start screen) 2. Switch to the CRJ (it starts running so wait a few seconds for it to settle down) 3. Choose Cold and Dark from Dave. From this point everything works as expected. My question would be is this normal to have to do this? My video (above) shows what happens if I don't.

With the CRJ it is a safe bet to do this yes. We had some unexplained problems now and then during the beta if not doing it this way. It is also the recommend way to start the CRJ since day one: point 8 Cheers!
