Uninstall and re-install is always better.

 

We advise you to re-install the product using these steps:
 
1) remove the product using the Windows Software control panel (do not manually delete the program files)
2) do a disk check (right click on the drive, select properties, select tools, select check now)
3) reboot your computer
4) log in with administrative rights
5) disable the anti-virus software temporary (it really is better because we get a lot of false positives)
6) install the product
7) enable the anti-virus software (don't forget)
8) defragment your disk (NOT if you are using a SSD)

Bernhard,

 

please don't forget that it's Sunday and that Aerosoft is a regular company with regular working hours. The fact that people here in the forums post more or less 24/7 can easily let one forget that. If you read posts in here from Aerosoft staff outside working hours they do it in their own spare time.

 

Posting in a forum is something else than actually working on company related stuff, like preparing downloads. You can read and post in the forum practically everywhere, in bed, on the sofa, in the train, as long as you have signal on your mobile phone. But that is only true for the forum as it doesn't require you to login into the company network or even being physically present somewhere.

 

Long story short: I wouldn't expect the update to show up on the update database today ;)
