Scott Hahn 0
Is there a quick way to get the Twin Otter ready to fly without going through the checklist? I tried CTRL-E, but that didn't do the job. Even right-clicking the tasks in the checklist takes many minutes before the plane is ready to fly. Then, as a newby, I sometimes crash before I can even take off, only to have to go through the entire startup process again. Thanks.

You can also elect to have it ready to fly when you load the aircraft.
expire 7
I do not think it is essential to go through the check list. From memory - as a rule I simply jump in, switch on the batteries, set up the navigation, lights and such - switch on the fuel and start the engines. I can be flying in about 5 minutes. (I usually forget to set the pitch which causes me interesting problems - but hey ho). This is more satisfying that having her 'running' from 'game start' - and it is not too time consuming.
