Flight initially planned from PADK to Paya, I had to do a stop at the small airport PAMD for personnel time constraints :(

This time, I choose the Buffalo livery, which seams to fit well to fly over Alaska !

Quite an enjoyable trip!  Kuddos for flying those wonderful old planes!  Frankly when I was young and still RW flying, they were already wonderful but certainly not old!;)

My initial plan for the last journey is this one : Gander historical stop was a MUST :)

Please login to display this image.

But depending of weather and available time, I may modify it....

Rendez-vous for the first leg.

The route map you posted shows you bypassing Gander and stopping at Goose Bay.   You could save some time and distance on your Atlantic crossing by going to Narsarsuaq Airport (BGBW) in Greenland instead of Sondrestrom (BGSF).:)

Good Luck.

Hi, Jeff W,

You are right - I posted the wrong map.  :(

Initially, I had planed that traject, and envisaged BGBW. But I found the runway a little bit short for my Super G.

I changed my mind because I really wanted to make a stop at Gander, like at DC 6/7 and Constellation time :)

Hence my plan modification. The last version is this one

I just finish the KLGA - CYQX leg. Taking off La Guardia at sunrise was a wonder

Today, after a long stay in Iceland, we fly the before last leg from BIRK to EGAA (Belfast).

I choose the Morane-Saulnier 760 Paris II, which was, rather than a small business jet, a liaison aircraft.

Thanks to her speed, we did the traject in about 3h20 mn at the average speed of  220 nm/h (ground speed).

Not bad for this 60's small aircraft !
