Hello Captains,

I'll go with post 70 cause of having plenty of work to do so I'll rely on my PMDG 747-4, 737-6-7-8 and Milviz DHC-2 Beaver for the longest leg between Japan and San Francisco where the 22 days timespan will allow me to explore a big part of the west coast.

My itinerary will be: EGKK  LOWI  LDDU  HECA  OMDB  VABB  VECC  VHHH  RJTT  UHPP  PASY  PADK  PADU  PAJC  PADQ  7AK3  L93  PAJN  5KE  CYSE  KFHR KRDD  KSFO  KDEN  KIAD  KLGA  KACK  CYHZ   EGLL

Next weekend Ill leave from Rome, where I live, to be in London in time for the start of the trip.

Looking forward to enjoy this adventure together!

Cheers

Adriano

Something was itching inside me about my choices regarding this fantastic event....

At the end totally changed my approach a day before the start!!!

I'll go, if I'm allowed to, for before 70 class L-040 Constellation, PYB Catalina and DC-6. And my amended flight plan will be

EGKK  LOWI  LDDU  LGAV  HEPS  OERK  OMDB  OPKC  VABB  VECC  VTBS  VVNB  VHHH RCTP  ZSPD  RKTP  R  RJCJ  UHPP  PASY PADK  PADQ  PAVD  PAYA  5KE  74S  KPDX KRDD  KSFO  KSEZ  KTEX  KDEN  KSUS  KIAD KBDR  KACK  YYT  EGKK

Just seen a video from Almost Aviation. It's incredible how this AS proposal hit the hearts of so many flight simmers!

Cheers from Italy, just practicing flying the newly bought A2A Connie in the route from Rome to Gatwick

See you all on route!

Left Gatwick yesterday to meet an increasing bad weather on my route to Frankfurt, an added stop cause of wanting to experience the new Orbx Germany South. Actually the weather around there was quite dense so just got a new glimpses of the new scenery...

Unexpectedly the radio on my Connie didn't get the ILS signal and had to fly the landing guessing where the airport was and spotting it just 3 miles before the threshold! Luckily my passengers were generous enough to applaude the one wheel landing at EDDF!

The leg from Innsbruck to Dubrovnick almost ended in tragedy with TWO engines on fire on final, 90° 20Kts Crosswind and heavy rain...

Managed to bring all home safely even i a little bit scared!

Thanks! Yes It was scary and the fun thing of the A2A Connie is that you hear the passengers screaming in sheer panic!! Very immersive!

Made my way to Heraclion, a very smooth landing. Actually my best ever with the Connie. Also the flight above Greece provided plenty of very satisfying landscapes: Athens, the Greek Islands, the incredible clear blue sea...

And finally at  Cairo International Airpor after a long flight above plenty of only water!

It was the first time I flew over Greece and then on the African continent...this is why I'm so much loving this adventure. This night I flew ove Alexandria where my mother was born, saw the Pyramids for the very first time.

Ok it's just a simulation but there's something real through the placebo effect I'd say!

Time for some pics now.

After some difficulties with the Prepar3D 4.1 update I've finally made my way to Rihyad, performing a truly awful landing but nothing besides some screams and grunts of disapproval!

Here's the Connie resting in the exotic arabian gate at night.
