barbecan 0
Just purchased xplane11 and bought the Lugano scenery. It has 3 folders in the download but was expecting a setup file. Where are the instructions to install these files?
nicovanj 7
I don't know the Lugano scenery but a general rule for scenery in X-Plane is to copy the new scenery to the \X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery. There should be a Earth nav data, objects and may be a opensceneryx sub folders under Lugano. As soon as you start X-Plane it will put the scenery info for Lugano in the scenery_packs.ini (also found in \X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery). Quit X-Plane. Make sure the SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global Airports/ is below the new entry of Lugano. Hope this help Regards
barbecan 0
Thanks. That does help. Will I expect that all xplane11 scenery downloads will not have a setup file, everything is installed manually?
nicovanj 7
Yes also the aircraft
Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted September 23, 2017 Administrator Share Posted September 23, 2017 Moin, yes, that is correct. Most Aircraft Addons and Airport addons don't have an installer. Aircrafts have to copy into the aircraft folder and Airports into the Custom Scenery Folder. (it's correct what nicovanj wrote). And here you find a post about the "Custom Scenery" folder: Greets Heinz
