luky1997 1
Hello guys, i've just bought the CRJ 700/900 for P3D v4. Installed it (in my opinion) correctly, and when i want to start a flight P3D crashes while loading.... Do you have any suggestions how to get it working? Thanks
DaveCT2003 2553
Did you disable your computer security and run the installer "As Admin"? Also, important to ensure your Windows User Account Control slider is set to the bottom and that you're running P3DV4 "As Admin". Do you run other payware airliners that have P3DV4 installers? If P3D crashed to desktop, then there will likely be an associated error. You can use the Windows Event Viewer to find/see it, or you can download and run AppCrashView and it will provide similar information. Please copy and paste the error information here in the forum for use to evaluate. Thanks.

DaveCT2003 2553
The information provided doesn't have any useful information, however the developer (Hans) might be able to help you to retrieve a dump file (if there is one). He's on a business trip right now but I'm sure he'll take a look at this in the next few days. What I'd be looking for is the Faulty Module in the crash report. Best wishes. I don't fault you for your perception, but you simply don't understand the dynamics at work and how complex this level of flight sim and flight sim development is. A very long time ago I wrote a similar post as yours in the PMDG 737 NGX forum and I was just as wrong as you are now. What I'd recommend you do is spend some time in the PMDG, FS Labs, Majestic, TFDi Deisgn (I could go on for a while) and read some release related posts. I really mean it, the education will really help you to understand the development cycle in our hobby. My very best wishes.

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 6, 2017 Aerosoft Share Posted September 6, 2017 The Airbusses are indeed not P3d V4 compatible. If that is hacked into P3d V4 all bets are off.

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 6, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 6, 2017 You should not delete the 2017 libraries. Simply install the 2015 libraries additionally, for both 32bit and 64bit. I have all of them installed starting with 2005 onwards
luky1997 1
That's what I have installed... cant spot the mistake. If I install C++ 2017 64 bit the 215 64 bit disapears.... Please login to display this image.
Hans Hartmann [OLD] 1419
VC 2017 redistributables have the same version number as the ones for VC2015. (14.1 vs. 14.0) so they overwrite each other. Normally, if you select the VC++ 2017 redistributables from the window shown in your thread, you should get an "Uninstall" button above the list. bjohnsonmn 2
I too am having this issue. I have attempted to install the 2015 C++ (mopperle's link on the other posts is incorrect, I had to search for it) I reboot, then the 2015 libraries are gone, replaced by the 2015 libraries. More importantly, why is Aerosoft releasing new software using such an old library?
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted September 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 9, 2017 What exactly lets you assume that the MS VC++ 2015 Redistributable package is "such on old library"? Have you installed its latest version (Update 3)?

First, as Tom already said, is not old, second according to LMs SDK Visual C++ 2015 is mandatory.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 9, 2017 Questions to all of you, how do you loaded the CRJ? Directly from the free flight menu or do you load a default aircraft with running enignes first and switch then to the CRJ?
