Strat1953 2
I had a similar situation , dual cue FD , close to 90 deg turn on the CYPRESS Star into KMIA , started the turn quite early at CYY , the FD would jump far to the right then jump back to centre . Did this 3 times . FD did not stay to the right long enough for autopilot to react .
Cheyenne Chief Pilot 829
Thanks for chiming in. Looks like we have two different issues here: You're flying with the A/P on and the F/D is pointing into the correct direction (still your F/D logic seems flawed) I'm flying manually and the F/D points into the *OPPOSITE* direction. Cheyenne Chief Pilot 829
My report confirmed here: "the FD commands a turn to the right, where the SID calls for a left turn heading 073 to intercept TRM R304 to TRM (as properly depicted on the CRJ ND though). After engaging AP the plane turns left (as expected by SID) and the FD commands the proper left turn." F/D logic reversed in manual flight. Peeps, this is so freakin' easy to spot!!! Cheyenne Chief Pilot 829
Still an eye-catching issue in v1.0.2. Not in the changelog, though: Please login to display this image.
