DaveCT2003 2553
I don't have the Otter, so this may not work. Try opening your main flight sim folder and inside look for an "Aerosoft" folder and inside there look for the folder for the Otter, and inside there you may find a file called "Product". If so, open it in Notepad and it should contain the version number of the software. At any rate, there should be a text file somewhere that has the version number. Also, the file name for the downloaded zip file or installer may have the version number. I hope this at least points you in the right direction. Best wishes. Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted August 21, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 21, 2017 It's in a file called "product.cfg." For P3Dv4, in the sim folder, go to the Ecosystem folder, then the Aerosoft folder, then the Twin Otter Extended folder. You'll find it there. An easier way to check is to use the Windows Control Panel (where you always want to go to delete an app). Open the Programs and Features tool, then click once over the name of the program, in this case "Aerosoft's - Twin Otter X Extended -" followed by the name of the sim. You'll see the version number in the lower left of the window.
