done with p3d 1 Posted August 17, 2017 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I previously used SIMstarter NG and previous versions on P3D 3.3 &3.4 without errors. Installed update 1.5 from simmarket and receive following error Access to the path 'C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\12BPILOT\SODE\P3DV3\ADD-ON.XML' is denied. Tried uninstalling, reinstall running as admin etc. Uninstall and tried to install older version and receive same error, am I missing something? done with p3d 1 Posted August 17, 2017 Author Share Posted August 17, 2017 Yes I installed as administrator and ran application as admin. I didnt have this problem in the previous version. If i uninstall 1.5 and reinstall 1.5 same issue. I reinstalled SODE as it seems where the error is at, still same error message. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At the moment it looks like the application is not started with admin rights see line 2229 8/17/2017 4:30:05 AM INFO PROGRAM RunAsAdministrator: False The upcoming version 1.5.1 will have a information dialog that pop up if the application is not started with admin rights.
