DaveCT2003 2553
My friends, I'll be posting this is a few different threads to make sure everyone who has asked about this knows.... Derek at Simbrief got back to me late this evening to let me know that he's added the Aerosoft CRJ to SimBrief. Here is the message Derek sent to me: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Dave, The CRJ format is now available on SimBrief! If you don't see the "Aerosoft CRJ" format at first, try re-generating a flight plan and it should show up. As I don't own the CRJ myself, I haven't been able to test these files on the actual aircraft. For now I've simply followed the guidelines in the PDF file and hoped for the best. If you get a chance to try it out, and if you find any bugs, please let me know and I'll do my best to solve them ASAP. Cheers, - Derek --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also... the CRJ Flight Plan format is highly similar to the Aerosoft Airbus format, but not the same. Best wishes and Happy Flights!
macca22au 30
But in my case I had to remove airways for the fp to ultimately load properly. Check carefully.
PeterZ KCLE EDDN 6
Thanks for the heads-up Derek, this is great news. Tried it and it appears it works like a charm. Those guys at simbrief are something else! Cheers, Pete
Mogens Gaardbo 0
Have today registred to SimBrief in order to have the possibility to download flightplans directly to the CRJ FMS. Normally I use vRoute, but they have not yet discovered, that the Aerosoft CRJ is out and airborne. But I can't get the SimBrief flightplan properly loaded. I get the SID and the STAR, but no airways or waypoints between. I have compared the pdf-master from Aerosoft with the SimBrief plan, but I can't see, what's wrong. They seem to be alike. Any hints?? DaveCT2003 2553
Yes... you have to follow the procedure for using a Saved Flight Plan. I don't have the manual in front of me, but it's in there. Best wishes.
