wnowviskie 0
Hello I am using 1.0.0.2 with P3D v4 and the HUD text is overlapped and way too large. I've used the FSX:SE and I do not have the same issue. I've done a clean reinstall and I am using the 1.0.0.3 gauge file Any ideas? Please login to display this image. EHAMsterdam 0
Got exactly the same problem. Using a 4K-monitor as well.
wnowviskie 0
Yep using 4k. Happens with scaling on and off, only in v4. In FSX the display is correct.

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted August 5, 2017 Aerosoft Share Posted August 5, 2017 Mmmmm, we have at least one tester with a 4K screen that does not have it. So there has to be a local setting involved as well. Can you check if font ECAMa is installed?
wnowviskie 0
Yes sir, ECAMa is installed. Can you confirm that the tester is using P3Dv4? I don't have the issue on FSX but I do have it on v4. Please login to display this image.
Deputy Sheriffs The Dude 6537 Posted August 5, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 5, 2017 He is. Could you specify what 4K is for you? There are two different resolutions that use that name depending on the monitor/TV you use.
tyacono 16
I have the ECAMa Normal as well.. I'm using p3d 3.4.. Resolution 3480x2160.

Hans Hartmann [OLD] 1419
It's "ECAMa Standard" here, not "ECAMa Normal". Can you check the file size of ECAMa.ttf in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder? It should be 7268 bytes. Also, do you have an Aerosoft Airbus installed on your system? Please login to display this image.
tyacono 16
Don't have airbus installed and don't ECAMa Standard. ECAMa Normal is same size. Can you post the font? Thanx
ryann 2
Hans, I have a "ECAMa Normal" font with correct file size at 7268 bytes but it appears fuzzy in the gauges. I do have Aerosoft Airbus planes installed on this computer for P3Dv3....Any help is appreciated .. Ryann
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted August 28, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 28, 2017 Do you use any font scaling settings in Windows other then "Default"
ryann 2
No, I just use the font scaling settings that are default in Win 10....Should I try some others for this CRJ?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted August 28, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 28, 2017 No, leave it as it is. Do you also use a 4k Monitor and if yes with what exact resolution? Do you know if there were any special settings applied in Windows and/or the graphics driver when you installed the monitor?
ryann 2
no 4k monitor here. no special settings applied to graphics driver or monitor when installed....thank you for working with me through this issue...

Siggy 5
I am having the same problem, e.g. the speed values on the left hand side don't show the hundreds digits. Originally I installed FSX while having a 1600x1200 monitor, I also installed the CRJ with that monitor, and then later changed to a 3840x2160 monitor with a different graphics card too (GTX-580 -> GTX-1080). Even after changing the "WideViewAspect=False" to "True", I still have that problem. Regards, Siggy
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted October 10, 2017 Developer Share Posted October 10, 2017 I got myself two 4K monitors and could finally reproduce the issue. The fix will be available with the next update.
keino333 17
I encountered this after installing the latest build and changing to a high resolution setting as well
NickJZX 0
Curious if this issue got solved? Latest build it's present. Had no issue before with 2560x1080 monitor, upgraded to 4K and the issue is here, the jet works perfectly otherwise!
Siggy 5
In the Readme.txt at "<FSX-Folder>\aerosoft\Digital Aviation CRJ" it states what you need to add into CRJ.CFG. Look for "Scaling". This works for me.
