michw 1 Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 RunwaysNG.xml caused Simstarter NG to shutdown, while MakeRwys was running with 'Set aircraft starting position' being executed. The following error was: CRITICAL ERROR: Reading < C:\aerosoft\SIMstarter NG\data\userprofiles\P3Dv4\runwaysNG.xml > caused a error. This can be caused by a faulty 'runways.xml' file. Problem: Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1696357, position 35. I can't seem to get past this point to start the sim.
