sesc360 0
Dear all, I noticed a strange difference in naming of SID/STARS in PFPX. For example: The DOMEG 4W SID in Paderborn is named DOME4W in PFPX. This is not the official decoded SID Identifier. Therefore, Flightplans using this SID ID are incorrect. Why does PFPX not use the official ID, or, where does it get this ID from? Thanks Sebastian
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted June 26, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 26, 2017 Hello Sebastian, PFPX fully relies on the installed navigation database. In case you haven't updated it, it is still an old NavDataPro AIRAC cycle from 2013. When using flight planners like PFPX you have to make sure that all involved add-ons (aircraft, flight planner, ...) use the same AIRAC cycle to prevent data inconsistencies. srcooke 422
PFPX will use the ARINC naming convention ( as seen in an FMC ) as supplied by the database providers. The full name is not available.
