To be honest I find that disappointing and resent you writing bad about us on our public forums. You are asking about a refund without even giving us the issue that is very obviously NOT caused by the product but by either an incorrect simulator choice in the installer or an incorrectly installed simulator (perhaps manually moved to another drive?). in any case, the scenery.cfg is not where is should be. Target sim: FSX I have downloaded the file, unzipped it and used administrative rights to commence installation. The scenery does not appear to be in the Settings>Scenery. I did not move the scenery.cfg file. Please see the attached image with the error right after installation. I made no changes to any files or any folder structures. You only have the DVD Version of FSX. Not the Steam Version? Edit: Another reason. That is an FSDG own Installer. That one behaves maybe different. Is your scenery.cfg consistent? Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted June 22, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 22, 2017 If your scenery.cfg is present on your system, other installer can handle it and FSX is running fine and loading other sceneries, then there is a bad formatting inside, so that the FSDG installer can't handle it. If you had installed the DVD Version of FSX sometimes before you installed the Steam Version, then select Setam Version during setup. If you never had installed the DVD Version on your current PC Config, then select FSX during setup, even if you are running the FSX SE. The reason is simple, Dovetail made some decissison, that the FSX-SE behaves differet during it's setup, depending on, if FSX DVD was/is on the system or not. Please login to display this image.
