v1.31 FSX:SE - NEO Folders Missing

Recommended Posts

Hi

Apologies if this is the wrong forum sub section to be posting in.

I have just installed the 1.31 update for  the A320/321. I have then downloaded the Thomas Cook NEO A321 repaint from the aerosoft livery forum to find that I get the same error message as before. Failed to load aircraft.

I have also noticed that there are no NEO aircraft folders in the SimObjects folder so I am assuming this is the problem. Could anyone shed any light on this please?

I have performed an extensive forum search and cannot find a suitablr answer to this query.

Thanks in advance.

Have you installed the livery using the livery manager?

Have you started the liver manager as administrator (right click the exe file, then "run as administrator")?

When you started the livery manager the first time, it asked you for the path to your simulator. Are you sure you selected the correct path?

Within the folder the livery manager executable is located you will also fin a "livman.ini" file. Please post it's content here.

Also, please post the link to the exact livery you have downloaded and try to install.

This is the link to the Thomas cook livery.

I will check the path.

Does this have something to do with the NEO folders? As I have been able to successfully install non NEO aircraft livery add ons.

There are NO NEO folders , the NEO referred to here are sharklet versions . With the latest A320/321 there are just 4 folders for the CFM and IAE models , with the AirbusX Extended version there were 8 . The difference is in the aircraft.cfg .

This has been asked and answered so many times in the past and if you have the time , read the pinned topics in the Tweaking section of the forum concerning installing any repaints .

This is the link to the topic for the solution in case anyone else stumbles upon my post.

I clearly did not search properly.
