Mega Airport Singapore X preview

Recommended Posts

How's the development so far? Also, I was thinking of maybe adding SODE and high detail textures as we now have P3D V4 (64 bit), also. Maybe the terminal glass would be a see through, and that maybe Singapore surroundings would be made and add 3D grass? :)
I am more than hyped for this project!
Thanks! <3

Any more news?

I've literally been checking up on this for the last months and got zero news..
I'm so hyped for it, but it's unfortunate that we aren't getting updated.. :(

Please keep Mathijs' first statement in this topic in mind:

Mega Airport Singapore X (by Antti Haka), It's still some way off but we thought it would be nice to share some first images!

For me this says that there is still lot's of work to be done before it's getting close to release.

Updates will be given automatically in the preview topics when new information becomes available. When there are no updates there simply wasn't anything that AS sees fit to be published. That's nothing to worry about.

Good things need time. so please be patient all.

Mmm, indeed, I als have no news on this, will ask the project manager.

When designers sign Aerosoft up to be their publisher, or even for internal projects, do they not have predetermined deadlines by which they have to deliver the project?  Some of these scenery projects float around for years.

As far as I know, no. Deadlines only lead to rushwork and rushwork leads to bugs and low quality, so it's understandable Aerosoft doesn't have any deadlines.

There is indeed a lot of difference in development speed. That's because some developers are working on their projects full-time, it's their job. Others do it next to their existing jobs and can therefor spend much less time developing.

Indeed they do and yes we do have deadlines and schedules. But they often change for many different reasons. For example the release and fast adaptation of P3D V4 changed a lot of schedules. But also professional projects (that always have priority) could play a role.

Well... you're right I guess, cause most of airports have wingflex ;)

It was a prod at the people pestering Mathijs (can never seem to spell his name right) about wingflex on the Airbus family, in case you missed the reference!
