Bolitho 0 Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 I have been flying the Airbus for a couple of months now. I usually start cold and dark and use the checklist option. When going through the checklist, the co-pilot reads the checklist items and the captain performs the necessary actions automatically. I was watching a YouTube video today and I noticed that the captain had to actually perform the various checklist actions himself, ie. physically turn on the various switches etc. Is there a setting somewhere which determines how the check list items are done (automatically or not)?
