Run Client program with arguments (Vpilot -remote -voice)

Hi,

I have two pc's (win 10) Prepar3d, networked and have Simstarter NG up and running - great program.

I also have the Client program up and running as well.

I would like to run Vpilot v2 on the second PC being started through the Simstarter Client

On the host it can work ok

\AppData\Local\vPilot\vPilot.exe -host

I can get it to start but I need to add on some command lines to make it run as remote and with voice as below.

vPilot\vPilot.exe -remote -voice

When I put that into the client it says it cannot find the program and it doesnt start.

Is there a way to make this work?  Do I need to create some sort of batch file to have client start it with the   '-remote -voice' ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Hi Scott,

I am sorry. The SIMstarter NG Client needs "some" improvements like operating with parameters. I am working on that in general but can't promise any delivery date.

My suggestion is using a Batch file and start it with SIMstarter NG Client on the Remote Computer. Not perfect but that should work. Using SIMstarter NG Client is documented in the manual.

Thanks for the quick response.

I have done that, created a short batch file to call the .exe with the arguments and it works perfectly.

thanks

Scott
