datguytho 38
Hello everyone, I would like to know: 1. In reality, are the seat belt signs on during the boarding (or even before) or do they get switched on right before starting pushback?? 2. At which height do I switch them off , if there are no turbulences etc.? 3. When do I turn them on again , if there are no turbulences.
Deputy Sheriffs The Dude 6537 Posted March 11, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 11, 2017 1) They are already on when boarding starts. Except when refueling takes place during boarding. 2) 10.000 feet is the normal "release" altitude. 3) shorthaul 15 minutes before landing, longhaul 25 minutes. Give or take. Deputy Sheriffs The Dude 6537 Posted March 11, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 11, 2017 In Europe it is a common thing with lowcost airlines for example. Every airport has its own rules and procedures. Some require a firetruck alongside the aircraft when refueling with pax onboard.
