OMGEDSON 1
Hi team, I started migrating my apps to a new build, SimStarter launched fine at first but today when I went into the old one to finish copying my settings over the new machine is now giving a license error. Help please! I've got to get set up to go live. Happy to even buy another copy if it means not having to wait to set up. But I'll need to know how to "update" license on the new build... Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted February 26, 2017 Developer Share Posted February 26, 2017 Hi Edson, please perform a clean installation of SIMstarter NG on the new maschine. Then take just the .\data\ folder and move it from the old to the new. Thats it.

I love the thought of doing this, but what if I don't have all the scenery and planes installed just yet on the new machine?
Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted February 26, 2017 Developer Share Posted February 26, 2017 No. Just a clean install of NG. All data will be copied by the .\data\ folder. Trust me I know someone who knows the code quite well. *LOL*
