PDXMike 1
I can't seem to find any way to assign the autopilot 1 (or 2) on/off to a hey or joystick button. The FS autopilot master on/off Z key doesn't work.
DaveCT2003 2553
This function should work, as I have the AP Master On/Off Toggle assigned to a button on my Saitek Yoke. Maybe use the USB Game Controller section of Windows to verify that you're button is working? Best wishes.
PDXMike 1
The joystick button and the Z key work fine in everything but the A318/a319/a320/a321 from Aerosoft.
DaveCT2003 2553
If you're looking to engage the AP "on" then it won't work, and one should use the AP button in the Virtual Cockpit. It does work to disengage the AP. This I believe mimics the actual aircraft. I hope this has been helpful. Best wishes!
Emi 5161
Correct Dave, Autopilot OFF works with the Z key, Autopilot ON however not because there are two autopilots installed in the A320 series, but there is no such option in FSX. Thus you need to engage the AP using the Pushbutton on the glaseshield.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 24, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 24, 2017 One can also use Linda and it's A320 Lua module to freely configure the disengage AP functionality to what ever device you want. Actually this allows you to connect any flight deck button/switch to any of your devices.
