Difference between PFPX AircraftTypes files

Recommended Posts

Hi, could anyone please explain to me the difference between the .TXT and the .PER files that are within the folder c:\Users\Public\Public Documents\PFPX Data\AircraftTypes and how do I create a .PER for an specific aircraft?

Hello Marco,

The .TXT files can be modify by anybody as you can open them with NotePad ; not the .PER files that you would mostly find with airline performance.net. Both in ... PFPX Data\Aircraft Types would give the exact same results. This .PER format was introduced within PFPX by Jon who did not want to have his work copied.

JP
