ODoyle 0
Hello, Just purchased the A320/321 for P3D. I am wondering how do I get the plane to load in a cold and dark setting?
Walter Almaraz 81
Hello, In the second MCDU you'll find the option for cold and dark, but I suggest you read the documentation, don't worry the Airbus is not difficult to learn
ODoyle 0
Thanks Walter, I finally did stumble upon that, should have read the documentation first like you said. However I am running into the issue now where the Aircraft Setting part of the MCDU is greyed out and will not let me action anything. I found a similar post from a couple years back where someone was having the same issue and it looked like it was because the engines were on. I went ahead and turned the engines off, turned off the batteries and APU and such (set the plane to cold and dark myself) but I was still unable to click on Aircraft Settings on the MCDU. A well, what is exacerbating the situation is I am unable to get the mouse click controls set up correctly. For some reason my default mouse click allows me to click on a button or switch. But then to action the switch I need to use the scroll wheel of my mouse to change the button from off to on, or move the switch to its different positions. As well my button clicks do not work at all in the left FMC. Any help trying to solve this issue would be great. I am wondering if my anti virus was still on when I installed this and that is my issue? I honestly don't know. Any help on the above two issues would be great. ODoyle 0
As well, I run Windows 7 as well. Don't know if that information helps at all.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 9, 2017 Using the mouse wheel is for many buttons the way to operate them. Simple on-off switches can be operates by mouse clicks as also the mouse wheel.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 9, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 9, 2017 Although it has been already suggested, please let me point you on the provided manuals again. Your questions on how to operate all buttons and switches are explained in there, as well as tons of other very informative things.
