Absturz beim Laden der Route Database beim Start von PFPX

Recommended Posts

Hallo,

Ok, that was a quick shot, as there was one other user in the past with the same error description like yours.

So we have to dig a little bit deeper, starting with the question: what have you done between yesterday and today. Any Windows updates? Any AIRAC updates? Any other installations on your machine?

The next step to try is to empty PFPXs temp folder. You will find here:

  • C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\Temp\

Instead of deleting the file, please move them into another folder (to still have them for possible further tests)

If that doesn't fix the problem, do the same with PFPXs route folder:

  • C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\Routes\

Again, don't delete the files, but move them somewhere else.

Now it's crashing during "Loading Costum Data"

Something seems to have corrupted your PFPX installation (damaged hd or intentionally damaged by a trojan).

Anyway, the solution should be simple:

  • uninstall PFPX
  • delete the folder "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\" with all it's remaining subfolders
  • install PFPX again

Please get the complete error message from the Windows Event log (eventvwr.exe, Windows Logs - Application) and post it here.

The rash accrues in the "atigktxx.dll" file which belongs to your ATI graphics card driver and provides OpenGL support.

Please update that ATI driver to the latest available version.
