X-Plane 11 B738 Mod von zibo

Wer gerne die X-Plane 11 Default 738 fliegt und sich ein paar Fuktionen mehr wünscht, dem wird mit dem kleinen Mod des Users "zibo" aus dem X-Plane.org Forum geholfen.

zibo hat dem Standardflieger einige Funktionen hinzugefügt bzw überarbeitet wie:


- Engine Starter

- FUEL Switch

- AIR BLEED System

- WING Anti Ice

- Window Heat

- APU Switch

- Autobrakes

- und andere


Die Modifikation kann hier runtergeladen werden:



Bitte beachten, die Modifikation funktioniert nur innerhalb der aktuellen Beta. Da aber zibo bereits bei der Vers. 1.08 ist, gehe ich mal stark davon aus, dass er sich weiterhin um die Mod kümmern wird.

Es wäre interessant zu wissen, was erfahrene 738 Piloten zur Mod sagen?

Leider spinnt momentan die Forumsoftware und mir ist es nicht möglich meinen eigenen Beitrag zu editieren, daher ein neuer Post.

Die Entwicklung des Mods schreitet voran. Mittlerweile ist zibo bei der Vers. 1.16.  Hier der Changelog:


Release note: 

- add automatic change kts to mach and mach to kts (crossover altittude FL260)
- fixed for default VNAV light
For use default VNAV > both EFIS VOR 1 and EFIS VOR 2 set to INOP!!!
- fixed smoothly autoland
- fixed for FMS mach speed - climb, cruise, descent (crossover altitude implemented)

AUTOPILOT - VNAV - with default FMS (automatic descent not impemented)
- smoothly change target FMC SPD
- default CRUISE ALTITUDE = 20000 ft, DESCENT ALTITUDE = 4000 ft
- issue convertion mach to kts (i need formulas)

- fixed default command "Landing gear toggle"

1/ Open default FMS on captain side (you can to use cockpit button FMS on captain side too) 
2/ Fill flightplan.
3/ Select SID and STAR.
4/ Press DEL button and CLR button for clear message
5/ Press CLB (CLIMB PAGE) and set Target speed (format KKK for kts or /.MM for mach), Restriction (format KKK/AAAA or KKK/AAAAA) 
6/ Press CRZ (CRUISE PAGE) and set Target speed (format KKK for kts or /.MM for mach), Cruise altitude (format AAAA or AAAAA or FLAAA)
7/ Press DES (DESCENT PAGE) and set Target speed (format KKK for kts or /.MM for mach), Restriction (format KKK/AAAA or KKK/AAAAA)
For setting value use direct CLB, CRZ, DES only (temporary, I will be full fixed).

8/ Set on MCP alt your cleared altitude.
9/ Take off and engage A/P and VNAV
10/ Aircraft climb to MCP altitude
11/ Set on MCP next your cleared altitude.
12/ Aircraft climb to MCP altitude.
13 / If your MCP altitude >= cruise altitude, aircraft climb to MCP altitude , then your aircraft speed up to cruise speed.
14/ Set on MCP your cleared altitude.
15/ If you are on T/D point (not implemented), press LVL CHG (If you VNAV on and at cruise altitude, VNAV is DESCENT NOW button temporary).
16/ Aircraft descent to MCP altitude
17/ Set on MCP next your cleared altitude.
18/ Aircraft descent to MCP altitude

- fixed issue with VNAV, if airspeed dial is switch to mach

- fixed some issue with animation on PFD

- graphic corrections and animations on PFD for thrust, roll and pitch modes


- modify LVL CHG
- modify VNAV: only working with preselect value. You can to change with DataRef plugin (fmc_cruise_altitude, fmc_descent_altitude, fmc_cruise_speed).
              Descent automatic not implemented. 
              If you are at cruise altitude and VNAV is ON, you must press LVL CHG for DESCENT NOW (VNAV stays turned ON).
              If VNAV is active, IAS dial display is blank.

If you want to use default VNAV, only change EFIS VOR1 and EFIS VOR2 on captain side to position INOP.

1.11b2 - BETA
- add annunciators PFD for pitch, roll, speed modes
- some correction in code
- fixed N1, VNAV
- add DataRef: fmc_cruise_altitude, fmc_descent_altitude, fmc_cruise_speed (You can change it by DataRef plugin)

1.11b - this is BETA !!!!
- fixed some issue with starting right engine

- fixed N1, SPD, ALT HLD, LNAV
   - N1 thrust =  preselect to 95 %
- new new new >>> VNAV for testing <<< new new new
   - preselect cruise altitude = 20000 ft
   - preselect descent altitude = 3000 ft for intercept ILS
   - preselect cruise speed = 320 kts
   - preselect climb and descent speed = 270 kts
   - preselect restriction: under 10000 ft -> speed 250 kts
   - if you are at cruise altitude and VNAV is ON, you must press LVL CHG (it is no change VNAV to off) for DESCENT NOW - (Descent automatic not implemented)
- Autopilot display default annunciators for pitch, roll, speed modes (temporary)

If you open file "XPLANE/Aircraft/Boeing B737-800X/plugins/xlua/scripts/B738.glaresheild/B738.glaresheild.lua" in text editor, you can change on begin preselect value:

- add: if you land with Autobrake position to RTO: After touchdown AUTO BRAKE DISARM light illuminates.

- temporary fixed if you have LNAV armed or engaged to switch VOR LOC and vice versa

- add animation for switches L RECIRC, R RECIRC, TRIM AIR

- NEW autobrake system independent of default
- mode RTO (Reject Takeoff):
     conditions for arm:
       - airplane on ground
       - switch position to RTO
       - wheel speed < 60 kts
       - thrust idle
     When you switch to RTO, AUTO BRAKE DISARM light illuminates for 1 to 2 seconds and then extinguished (automatic self-test).
     RTO mode is engaged, if wheel speed > 90 kts and thrust are retarded to iddle.
- mode 1 -2 -3 - MAX:
      conditions for arm: on air
      After landing autobrake application begin when:
         - thrust levers are retarded to idle
         - the main wheels spin-up
     If you aplly manual brakes or thrust is not idle, then autobrake disarm and AUTO BRAKE DISARM light illuminates.
- mode OFF:
     Autobrake and RTO disarm.

- fixed small issue with ENGINE STARTER in mode OFF
- fixed LOW PRESSURE fuel pump

- fixed start Engine using other Engine running: L PACK > OFF, R PACK > OFF, Isolation Valve opened (no switch ISOLATION VALVE)

- all Window Heat switches are working: Left side, Left front, Right side, Right front

- correct ISOLATION VALVE on AUTO mode:
        ISOLATION VALVE opened: otherwise
- if START VALVE engine 1 open -> ENG 1 BLEED AIR VALVE close
- if START VALVE engine 2 open -> ENG 2 BLEED AIR VALVE close

- both Engine Anti Ice are on, if engines are runnig. (Left Engine Anti Ice for left engine, Right Engine Anti Ice fo right engine)

- LEFT wing anti ice system is on, if L DUCT > 15 psi and switch WING ANTI ICE > ON
- RIGHT wing anti ice system is on, if R DUCT > 15 psi and switch WING ANTI ICE > ON
On the ground: if thrust > takeoff thrust (50%) then wing anti ice system is OFF


1.05 (small update)

- APU generator switches - add APU GEN BUS 1 and  APU GEN BUS 2
- fixed ISOLATION VALVE - it working corectly in all positions
- small fix for smoothly animation DUCT PRESS
- small fix LOW PRESSURE for all hydraulic pumps


!!! If DUAL BLEED illuminated (both APU bleed open and ENG bleed open), trust must be on idle (duct max 30 psi), otherwise you can damage APU pressurization !!!

- HYDRAULIC: both hydro pumps and both electric hydro pumps - working

- AUTOLAND: fixed smoothly touchdown

- beta AIR BLEED SYSTEM - L Pack, R pack, Isolation Valve
(some issue with animation DUCT PRESS, engine can starting with PACK auto or high,...)

- fixed VOR LOC mode on A/P

- temporary fixed Autobrakes (all modes: RTO, Off, 1, 2, 3, MAX) for Public Beta 2 (It's a bug)
- modified touchdown for Autoland (...better touchdown in progress...)

APU switch
- working starting delay from 30 to 60 second
- shutdown after cooling - delay 60 seconds

FUEL switch
- working all fuel selectors and all fuel pump

ENGINE starter
- working all modes: GRD, OFF, CNT, FLT

- ALT dial: click = decrease / increase 100 ft
                 hold = decrease / increase 1000 ft
                 mousewheel = increase / decrease 100 ft
- At 350 ft RA: if FLARE not armed then A/P disengage
- beta test:  AUTOLAND function using with default A/P
    Push APP on autopilot, if LOC captured then PFD display: "SINGLE CH"
    Push second A/P CMD - activated autoland (it must be engaged minimal at 800 ft RA)
    If LOC captured
    At 1500 ft RA - both MASTER lights illumined, PFD display: "CMD". (NAV1, NAV2 and CRS1,CRS must be the same, otherwise Autoland disengaged.)
    At 1300 ft RA - FLARE armed
    At 400 ft RA - autopilot trims gently nose up, FLARE is activated at about 50ft RA (maneuvre)
    At about 27 ft RA - autopilot RETARD thrust
    Touchdown - A/P and A/T disconect
    Autoland cancel: push A/P disengage button
- working both flight director with MASTER mode pilot and copilot
- fixed F/D captain and First officer - autopilot master
- fixed CMD A for NAV1, CMD B for NAV2
- fixed disengage A/T, if you takeoff and aircraft jump on runway
- better touchdown (...in progress...)

GEAR leveler: down / up / off - you can use default command  "Landing gear toggle."

Release note: 

- add animation for anti ice valves for wings and engines (if you turn on anti ice, valve is open - bright, and then dim if no icing)
- You can enter data to FMS conventional methods
- if you press V/S button : V/S engaged with actual vertical speed to target MCP altitude
- In ALT HOLD mode: select target MCP altitude, select MCP vertical speed (V/S arm illuminated), 
and press V/S button for engage V/S mode with selected MCP vertical speed to target MCP altitud

Für die  mittlerweile weit vorangeschrittene B738 Mod von Zibo ist ein Soundpaket von "audiobird xp" erschienen. Das Soundpaket hat es wirklich in sich und das Beste daran, es ist kostenlos! Wenn ihr gute Lautsprecher euer Eigen nennt und das gute Verhältnis zu eurem Nachbarn noch weiter ausbauen wollt, dann probiert das Soundpaket aus. Mit einem schönen Subwoofer wackeln die Wände. :rolleyes: In dem verlinkten Video könnt ihr euch einen guten Eindruck von dem Sound machen.

Ich habe mir heute die neue Version installiert und wenn ich ein Pushback mache dann werde ich bloß angeschubst und der Pushback lkw fährt wieder weg und ich stehe immer noch am Gate.Was könnte das Problem sein und wie löse ich es.Ich habe X-plane 11.

Von dem Problem habe ich noch nicht gehört. Ist die Parkbremse angezogen, wenn der Pushback Truck kommt?

ich bin begeistert von der Mod und ich habe sie erst seit gestern. Allerdings habe ich eine Frage.


Normal sollte ich alles richtig eingestellt habe, doch es dauert recht lange, bis in den Displays der künstliche Horizont erscheint und mein Flugplan. Ich kenne das von der Ramzess Boing 777, da dauert das Align 10 Minuten.

Hier scheint es aber noch länger zu dauern. Kann man diese Zeit sehen oder sogar verkürzen?

Bei mir lässt sich der YAW Damper nicht einstellen sowie die Displays vom Horizont und Flugplan nicht anzeigen. Mal funktionierts einwandfrei mal wieder nicht. Siehe Screenshots. Weiss jemand ob das ein Bug ist?

Die Zeitanzeige beim IRS Display muss ablaufen damit alles angezeigt wird, dann funktioniert auch der YAW Damper. Laut Infos kann man die Dauer der Zeitanzeige verkürzen oder in real einstellen im FMC unter Extras.

Kann mir jemand beim folgenden Problem helfen? Ich kann bei der Neuinstallation des Zibo Mod Version 3.06p die Rudder Pedals nicht mehr bedienen. Muss man das im FMC machen? Im X Plane 11 Menü unter Einstellungen funktioniert alles. Hab die Pro Flight Rudder Pedals von Saitek.
