Caribpilot 58
Hi, I was just wondering if the Twin Otter extended will receive any new features or updates in the future?
data63 421
looking at the age of the product (3 years) I doubt that (maybe besides some P3D V3.x compatibility ones) - but I would be happy to be proven wrong.
MarkHurst 173
Well, doubtful...but, as Aerosoft points out, this is the fourth time it has done the DHC-6. So you never know!
Caribpilot 58
Personally I would like to see more airline options and compatibility with units like the GTN650 and 750. Also, It would be nice to have a better engine simulation that offers or more realistic turbo prop simulation. The model that was created was based on a Twin otter that had an autopilot but the vast majority don't and it would be nice to see a version that does not have the autopilot. Even the addition of the 400 series would be quite welcome.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted November 23, 2016 Aerosoft Share Posted November 23, 2016 We currently have no plans for any new version. But then again I know a few people in Aerosoft who love this aircraft.....
Caribpilot 58
Sounds promising. I doubt anyone will try to create a new Twin Otter unless its a 400 series but this package is a great platform to expand on to create a much better product. FishermanIvan 2
I'd really love to see them bring the engines outside of FSX/P3D like majestic has done. It makes turboprops flyable, really. Water handling would be my next list of "things to do". There's gotta be some way to sidestep the water in this game, and make the Twotter steerable with differential thrust.
