Can't update to 1.28

When I run the updater it gets past the 'must run as administrator' screen and then tells me PFPX needs to be installed for the updater to run. I've tried launching it from inside the directory in which PFPX is installed, but it still can't find the installation.

No Problem here. Might be a problem with your Windows registry. Alternatively you can try to use the full installer.

I'm having this issue as well.

I've updated to 1.28 and it still hangs at Synchronizing.

I've did a complete uninstall, and then tried to reinstall, and I get this new error:

"An error -5001: 0x80070002

I'm on WIndows 10 Anniversary edition

Search the internet for Microsoft error 5001. See if that returns any hits about a solution.

No, you don't. The title of this topic clearly says "can't update". You have updated and run into problems afterwards.

So please open you own topic and post the full windows event log error there.

Actually I've opened a ticket an I'm awaiting a response.
