romeocharlie 36
Would it be possible to help me figure out why AI traffic is floating at Malaga? Completely fresh install, nothing changed from default, but seems to be a problem with the elevation. I have FSX (boxed) and I have FTX Global Base, Global Vector and openLC Europe installed. Thanks. wingnut 60
Hello; Have you ran the FTX Vector Tool, also you might want to disable the bgl for the Airport in your Traffic Folder. Mark
romeocharlie 36
Thanks for the suggestion, but the Vector tool didn't give me the option to disable LEMG, and manually changing the file to ABP_LEMG.off in Vector has not fixed the problem. wingnut 60
Hello; Here is the file you need to change in the My Traffic/Scenery Folder-BR2_LEMG.off,make it look like that, also for the FTX Vector, when you run it,and save the profile, and use it,it should disable any sceneries that have an elevation issue. romeocharlie 36
I don't have My Traffic, Mark, as my AI is a custom setup from various sources. I'll try saving my profile in Vector, which I've not done for a while.
romeocharlie 36
Despite various attempts at troubleshooting this, I still have floating AI. Can anyone from Simwings advise, please?
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 21, 2016 Aerosoft Share Posted September 21, 2016 There is no need to ask simWings because the reason is really clear. There is another file, not part of the product, that puts the ground as seen by the sim at a different level.
romeocharlie 36
Would you care to hazard a guess at where I might start looking? Answering a question with a statement doesn't constitute support in my book. And why might I not ask the developer, as they built it? You're happy enough to take my money, but you don't seem too fussed about my concern? This is the second time I've sought support in these forums for an Aerosoft-published scenery, and this is the second time I've been told that it is in essence not an issue for developer or publisher. You've just lost yourself a customer.
data63 421
there are some (freeware) tools around to search for (duplicate) AFCAD files. just try that and see if there are duplicates, if yes -> remove/deactivate them and try again
romeocharlie 36
Thanks for the suggestion, Juergen, but I found a solution independent of the Aerosoft "support forum".
Christiaan 3
Maybe you can share the solution as other users may experience the same issue in the future.
