skelsey 103 Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Easy - just keep an eye on the PROG page and when the OPT is around 1000ft above your current level, step to around 1000ft above the OPT level (provided REC MAX is not limiting). Just enter the new cruise altitude on the FCU and push. You'll see "NEW CRZ ALT -XXXXX" appear on the MCDU scratchpad and the cruise altitude will automatically update.
