A bit late because of me travelling the weekend and Monday, here's a shot of the very lively terminal area of the new SCFA Andrés Sabella (Chile) freeware:

Other addons used are PMDG's DC-6 (not visible here), SkyMaxx Pro and Real Weather Connector.

X-Plane payware developer DDenn has made the reflection plugin of his Challenger 300 freeware, and a user at x-plane.org (JakeyBoy875) has used DDenn's plugin to create reflections for the vFlyteAir Cirrus SR20 -- it looks pretty good, that's why I show it on this screenshot:

What you can't see here is that I'm approaching Aerosoft's Frankfurt-Egelsbach scenery here (buy at http://www.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=article_detail&s_supplier_aid=13920).

Soo... first of all, happy new year to everybody!

We start 2017 with a screenshot showing me flying in the XP11 default Cessna 172 over Drzewiecki's Miami. For weather I use xEnviro.

Here I'm on my inauguration flight for Delta Virtual Airlines (https://www.deltava.org/) from KLGA to KDCA in a B1900D, shortly after takeoff. Down below there's Manhattan.

Since some months, Delta VA's ACARS tool used for real-time flight reporting works with X-Plane 10 and 11 out of the box (well, if you're on Windows. One can also submit flights via xACARS). Only downside so far is that check rides and type ratings are not yet accepted by the staff when using X-Plane, because the X-Plane support of their ACARS tool is still in beta. But they are working on it. Until then I have a lot of flying to do anyway (mainly on the B737, which is my main rating there), and that's quite enjoyable. So far I'm flying offline, but I intend to join PilotEdge at some point and overcome my "fears" of real human ATC. ;) Although PilotEdge is restricted to the west of the USA, from what I hear they are very professional. Long term goal is to fly a fully ATC controlled online flight for Delta VA in a 737, maybe from Seattle to San Diego or something similar. I've got a lot to learn for that, though *gg*

Software used were X-Plane 11 beta 6, xEnviro, Drzewiecki's New York City and New York Airports, TropicalSim's Washington Reagon National Airport (KDCA), Carenado's Beechcraft B1900D

For X-Plane, two ERJ 17x regional jets are available, the ERJ-175 by X-Crafts and the ERJ 170 Evolution by SSG, which is shown on this picture (I showed the ERJ-175 here)

If you only accept 100% realistic systems in a PMDG style, where each fluid is modelled individually, SSG aircraft are certainly not for you. Also, SSG were known for, well, not-so-pretty 3D cockpits with a big FPS impact. But the most recent versions have improved both in visuals and systems a lot when compared to initial releases a few years ago. In our store, we currently only have SSG's Boeing 747-800, although I'll go ask why this is the case. Because personally, I like their aircraft. Not overly complex, but still far more to observe than simple default aircraft.

On the picture it is used in X-Plane 11, although it's not fully compatible even with the latest update. But with a few workarounds it works fine.

Scenery shown is Santa Barbara (KSBA). It's part of a $40 donationware package with several California airports by gpb500. This developer has released some very nice freeware packages in the past, esp. his KBSP was good. The donationware package, though, has more detailed versions of the free airports, as well as some other airports. To obtain the package, go to x-plane.org and write the user gpb500 a personal message. He'll tell you how you can get his works.

This picture was taken during a flight from the Grand Canyon to San Diego, via Las Vegas, Twentynine Palms and Palm Springs.

We don't see the aircraft here, but I love that view. It's the skywalk near Grand Canyon West airport (1G4).

Here are three more:

In this screenshot, I'm approaching PAJN (Juneau; freeware by MisterX6). I came from KSEA (Seattle). I'm using Zibo's modified default B737 (lots of corrections and fixes to nearly every system plus additions to the FMC; the mod receives updates nearly every day).

This was a Delta VA flight, see my flight report here: https://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x13a4a6
