Aerosoft A318/A319/A320/A321/A330 Professional Preview

We don't need a fuel dumping feature for the 330 because you either took too much fuel which is poor flight planning or it's used in an emergency. Considering the 330 will be normal only no need for it.

And additionally the A330-300 does not have a center tank. You "only" can carry ca. 70to of fuel with you.

Unless it is an extreme emergency, most aircraft will fly on a hold until fuel is burnt ( which you can do of course ), rather than dump, it's more eco-friendly.

I know you are a A330 mechanic Wackenopfer, but it is my impression that all A330 have the centre fuel tank. Meaning that the pre 242-ton A330-300 models do have the tank but that it is
not used/activated due to weight limits. Anyway the version AS is modelling does not have it activated so it does not matter.

I could easily be wrong, but I believe he's actually an engineer rather than mechanic.

Even if aerosoft wouldnt model this feature iam pretty sure someone will come up with an overfill option like with the a321's

even out of amsterdam for my airline it is almost never used on the longer flights like portland.

Mathijs, will SAL9000 will be installed at the A330?

No. Unfortunately current technology is not in place to allow a realistic denial of command. So no "I'm afraid I cannot do that". What is the point of SAL9000 without that important feature? They can add an audio clip, but what is the point of the audio if it does not actually do anything?

Could this imply we are close to beta? If so the hype is real!

Greetings to all! I wanted to know if the Freighter version of the A330-200 will be made ... Thanks!:clapping_s:

Copyrighted Material deleted!

No, this is not planned at the moment. Only the A330-300 with RR engines is developed at this moment.

Calm down.. This project needs time B)

Of course it does! Looking at what an amazing project this is it will well be worth the wait! Maybe I am out of touch with the development process, but releasing a paintkit must surely imply a large amount of progress. Then again, we are likely close to release, but remember close is relative. To some, close to release is tomorrow. To others, close to release is a year ;)

Mind you, they said they were close to releasing the CRJ 4 years ago. Progress can always be misleading.

Couldn't you pin this answer somewhere?

(Clearly summes up in one line, what's included)

It would not matter. As with the release date question the "which aircraft" question will always stay with us.

Mathijs's first post here says it all but who reads the first post in a topic anyway. ;)
