A great thanks for your dedication to this wonderful trip!:clapping_s:

Hope to meet you for real one of these days, and other participants as well!!!!

If I understood well, we may make extra legs for some other airports closeby, right? ... i.e. Leg 42a and 42b for instance ?

Leg 40: SPIM => SPHI with the C404 Titan (Of course, the kite did the whole Aerosoft World Tour which I originally started with a KLM B737-800 until Canaima. Then.... I bought the Titan and flew the legs from Paderborn to Canaima again.)

DEP RWY33 15:48z following SID: BTE1G, Weather 27006kt OVC23 21/15 Q1014

Climbed out with 1400 fpm and leveled 16:00z at FL160.

upload51.thumb.jpg.d85aa2544e91eec6602fc

A nice flight in outstanding weather with (later on) just a few cumulus layers above and below. Around SPEO (Chimbota, Peru) a bit more clouds, but still very nice weather. Then following the STAR: ARGO1A for a landing on RWY19:

upload53.thumb.jpg.fb1926b6209d787259463

Landing time 17:47z after alltogether a 389 Nm trip. I don't know why I have those black polygons (see below), but it might very well be that my PC was born in 2008.  Yes... a new one is coming in december!

Hi Philippe,

Just to enable such an extra leg: here is again the airport SPHZ_AB.zip.  :) Microsoft has placed the original at one end straight in a mountain

That'd be nice. Last year some of my Andras Meridian VA mates met at Lelystad FS Weekend. Was good fun to meet eachother in person. So who knows?

Regarding extra legs: that's your own choice.

Hi flightsim fellows,

looking at these great pictures I can't wait starting my first flight of the recent batch. But there is something stupid like pending tax reports which steels my time. :diablo_s:

@Dirkinvest, hope I will have close weather conditions as you had. Marvellous cloud formations.

@spruce448, great scenery pictures. Which addons are you using? Orbx FTX Global?
Your plane looks quite powerful, but to complete the tour you might want to select a larger plane allowing to add more logos of additional sponsors.:)

@pasterke, guess you want to be first in El Paso?:goodluck_s:

Take care!

@gazoeller its the stickers that's holding the thing together(it adds a new meaning to pop rivets).

I use P3dV3, FTX Global and ASN, REX4 and Latinvfr's SPIM.

It's not Friday, but I'm on my way, too....

The first leg, broken in two parts:

Leg #40.1 SPIM    SPHZ ANTA         B200, 1.2 hrs (0.6 hrs IFR conditions), Thunderstorms, very low visibility during the last 50 nm.
Leg #40.2 SPHZ    SPHI Chiclayo     B200, 1.3 hrs (0.6 hrs IFR conditions), ILS 19 (not really necessary)

The ride to Anta had been a flight with almost half of the time clammy hands - later more.

A couple of minutes after leaving SPIM
2015-11-09_17h4332_AB_zpsmggtvc1v.jpg

The morning fog after taking off should have been warning enough and about half of the flight had been without any remarkable events

Here are the clouds, just before I turned right into the mountains, telling me something about upcoming thunderstorms.

2015-11-09_17h5345_AB_zpsltmuidwe.jpg

I followed the highway PE16 (it cuts into the mountains where you can see the first clouds at about flight level) towards Conococha where the Rio Santa starts its way towards the Pacific and followed the river and the parallel highway 3N to Anta (SPHZ). Unfortunately the valley became quite narrow because of the need going lower and lower and there was no way going straight ahead. A couple of times the clouds reached the bottom and in real life I would have decided to climb as fast as possible. Here I tried to make use of the B200's equipment in order to follow the valley even nearly blind (shame on me). However, to my surprise it worked quite well even if I had some near misses on my way.

Finally the valley opened and the runway was almost in front of me. The picture didn't represent well the challenge as I had to stay about 500 ft above the ground in order to avoid mostly (!) the clouds.

2015-11-09_18h3135_AB_zpsuv4gf9or.jpg

A minute (rather a few seconds) later it fogged in again, but the sight was sufficient to land safely.

2015-11-09_18h3349_AB_zpsmad5lrc0.jpg

A couple of hours later the take off towards Chiclayo (SPHI). The weather had become a bit better - on ground. I climbed up to FL240, but even then I had nearly half of the time no sight at all.

2015-11-09_19h4225_AB_zpsjckr2wnn.jpg

Thus, here is a picture after the landing.

2015-11-10_14h2749_AB_zpsvm4cl1jt.jpg

BTW, I used a scenery named "sphi_v1_0.zip" from Flightsim.com as the other one produced some texture errors for me. The used one wasn't perfect as well, however, fully sufficient for an intermediate stop
