True, you were long due, will contact you.

I'm certainly not the only one, Mathijs. John, Airmax and I'm sure a few others. Of course you'd have to judge said work on an individual basis.

I simply find it rather disconcerting that you feel I was over due yet I had to point it out publicly to garner a response. Seems rather disingenuous, no offense. However, that's your and Aerosoft's prerogative. It's your company, you're free to do things as you wish. No ill will. I'm past the point disconcertment, anger and the feeling of being unappreciated while helping to sell and extend your products via likes of liveries and other content. People that do things like this are the backbone of your community, and to toss them aside, to not show a semblance of gratitude is just the epitome of little, a nonchalant attitude of who cares.

With all due respect, please don't contact me. I'll pull my content as soon as a secondary option becomes available.

  2. For the two thousand plus people that were using my ATC mod, I apologize. I attempted to update it today only to be met with file restrictions. Not only couldn't I add the components I wanted, but given the new AS download section restrictions via third-party links, I couldn't do much of anything. Therefore, the file I was attempting to updated has since been removed. This wasn't intentional however, I was updating it when the notification appeared that I could no longer contribute to the page I had created, and the fact that the file in question exceeded the max download size.

As an issue that's been ongoing for the better part of six months, I just wanna say thanks to AS for all their help. That's sarcasm by the way. Honestly, over the past several months I've never felt more abandoned. But I understand Aerosoft. Gotta get that cash, right?

    Thanks Det.

What really got me thinking it was going into production was the Launch Customer logo....I think it looks great on the bird (and breaks up that looooong white fuse with nothing else on it, hehe).

I still have a copy of your C-77, you did a great job on it!

Yeah mate, I felt that having the mid section of the fuse bare wasn't going to work, so I added a fake type of logo.

The vert stab on your 74 looks great. Really adds to the overall livery.

    Hey Det,

After seeing your screens of the 773F....I tired looking up real world articles on the upcoming -300 freighter and could not find anything.

Is this a real future aircraft series from Boeing or an "Artist's conception"?;).  Regardless great screens AND paint!...and if its coming in the future....I'll certainly be flying it!

The 777F is currently my favorite aircraft to fly, and LH is probably my favorite airline to fly (and paint).  I recently painted every the 747-400 Lufthansa ever flew on the PMDG model, even a fictional 747-400 freighter (all available at Avsim).

If you want a photo tail I painted for my 777s and 747s (well, its actually the texture I use for every LH I've painted, from the EMB-195 on up), just let me know I I can send you the textures for your paint projects,

    Regards,

    Steve Dra

There was talk about a 3F variant some time back but nothing ever came of it, for obvious reasons. I mean its payload cap would be around the same as the 7F, so it doesn't serve much purpose as is. Still, I wondered what one would look like so I spent a few minutes doing one. This was actually done for the CS T7 as I had already done several LH liveries for it and because the exterior modeling is superior to that of PMDG. Of course that comes at a cost of performance. Might have to toss it on the PMDG 773 just to see what it looks like now that you mention it.

I can't even recall the last time I did anything for a heavy or PMDG. I guess it would be the proposed C-77 that was canned by the DoD and a request for a LH livery. But other than those, I think that's it.

Again , that the MCDU is not working correctly for you , has absolutely nothing to do with the repaint itself .

You merely stated that it did not work , which one - left or right , nor did you ask for any help in getting it to work . There are several other posts here in the Tweaking Section , two of them written by me regarding asking for help and installing Airbus repaints in all versions of the Airbus . I cannot force anyone to read those topics but failing to do so just means that your " problem " stays your problem .

The reviews are intended to be used as feedback for the paintwork itself ( and to inform other users ) and to do with the quality of that paintwork , nothing else . Problems with non-working systems should be placed in the relevant forum section where the mods and other forum members are ( normally ) more than willing to help .

HA! Same with this rocket scientist (see review section). Textures have nothing to do with the issues he or anyone else is having, period. That said, I do love the 1 Star reviews concerning issues that aren't even related to the livery.

    Either:

    • A.) They never updated it.
    • B.) They screwed something up with the addon themselves.
    • C.) They never updated it because they pirated it and they can't.

    Taken today.
