EKCH - Copenhagen/Kastrup, Denmark These files adds 3 somewhat realistic and up-to-date repaints for three separate AES airport vehicles; for Copenhagen Airport - Kastrup only. AES-VN-03-01-EKCH - Stairway, Small (CPH GO Logo + TiPS Logo on outer panels, incl. ID code on the side) AES-VN-03-02-EKCH - Stairway, Big (White/Gray, CPH Logo outside & Front incl. figurative ID code on the side) AES-VN-02-03-EKCH - Neoplan Bus (Shuttle Service colours with ID code, logos & license plate) Reason for the development of these repaints: The existing air stair trucks in AES (and the Copenhagen repaints to be found in the same place, on the forums) are simply out of date; in terms of the logos/handling services. It is typically not SAS Ground Handling, handling a reasonable part of the traffic in EKCH. Another ground handling service company is "Novia". They are handling traffic outside the "Star Alliance" and others. I have not included this variation, as I wanted to be able to fly SAS/Star Alliance planes once in a while; while not using either NOVIA/SAS Ground's own equipment. This is why I have chosen to repaint only CPH's own equipment (such as the two variations of stairways, as you see in the attached pictures). I have downloaded the existing EKCH AES repaint from this forum-section, re-texturing in SAS ground vehicles colours (such as red cargo-loaders, CPH buses, etc.); but found that the NEOPLAN bus was not re-textured. I have re-textured this in the real colours of one of the shuttle-buses, which are being used for air-side transportation once in a while; in its new colours. KNOWN BUGS: Windows on the CPH NEOPLAN bus are transparent, without shading, making the text overlay transparent as well, when in a straight horizontal angle on the bus. I have tried doing multiple things about this issue, but it is consistent. Tips/tricks on optimizing this are greatly appreciated. Danish text are crossed-over from the window-frames, of the bus There are no information/text on the front-display, of the bus INSTALL DIRECTIONS: To install the files go through these steps, as follows: Locate the downloaded files (6) in your download folder Mark all 6 files (2 "variations" for each AES vehicle): 1 "normal texture" & 1 "_LM" night texture Cut them all, and paste into the following folder: - (Your Drive):\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Aerosoft\AES\TEXTURE -> Drop them in here. After pasting the textures, make sure to run AES Help. If nothing pops up, you have installed the texture repaints correctly, and they will appear next time you load up FSX, and request AES assistance. DO NOT change the name of the files*. -"AES-VN-03-02" States the AES Vehicle type, onto which the repaint will be applied. -[...] "-EKCH" states that it will only be recalled for the airport of Copenhagen, Kastrup (ICAO: EKCH). These textures will therefore not be activated for any other airport, than CPH. -[...] "_LM" refer to this file being with the night-texture layer visible (what will be displayed in low-light situations. Generally, the existing textures will be darkened. Make sure all 6 files are installed. *Refer to this post, or the AES Texture Repaint Kit Manual, if in doubt about the naming of the files, in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE EXISTING EKCH AES REPAINT, WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN THESE FORUMS AS WELL; ADDING SAS TEXTURES ON SOME VEHICLES. THEY ARE A NICE ADDITION TO THESE NEW, UPDATED TEXTURES. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/1790-ekch-airport-services/ Happy flying from/to Copenhagen! -V.
