    Ok, thanks for letting us know. The only way to reload is to go in the Settings, change the mesh resolution by a big difference, click OK, it reloads, then back to Settings, set the mesh to what it was before the change, OK, it reloads. Well, this was first announced about a year ago, so I wonder if this project has been abandoned now...

    Once you know the value that fixes the problem, 2 reloads only: 1 with the new value helping to fix the problem, 1 to set to the original value. But I do agree: we should not have to do this in the first place, simply by not having that bug!

    Merlin59, What works for me when I come back to Lukla, and there is the hill on the runway: Settings, Display settings, Scenery tab, change the mesh resolution by a big difference, click OK. FS reloads. After reload, if the hill is gone put back the previous mesh resolution value. If the hill remains try another mesh resolution value, when fixed, set back your original value.

    Hi Oliver, Could you please look at my post #32 ? I finally had time yesterday to provide evidence with a video. Earlier in the week I mentioned this without evidence (I was busy), and was told to provide evidence, which is now done. Am I the only one to have these PAPI lights issues, and the 3D lights remaining on during the day after the night? Thank you.

    Issue 4: seems fixed now. I have no idea why it wasn't fully working yesterday. Before you close this project, here are the bugs I still have in Madeira X Evolution v1.05a (NB: I put the fixes you provided yesterday 19 July): PAPI and 3D lights problems in FSX SE: - The PAPI lights fade, disappear, reappear during the day... - During the night, the PAPI lights are OK... - If, after the night, we select the day, the PAPI lights are buggy again, and the 3D lights at the airport are ON! The 3D lights go off if we get close to them... - If we end the flight, then start a new flight in Madeira, the 3D lights at the airport remain ON during the day. - For these 3D lights to be OFF during the day, we need to close then restart FSX SE! Note: The bug of 3D lights remaining on during the day after the night occurs in both LPMA and LPPS. Watch this video showing the above mentioned bugs: I hope this is helpful watch in 1440p

    I am now testing v 1.05a with Fixes for Madeira 1-05a.zip (File updated 2017-7-19 2pm Zulu) I run FSX SE. Issue 2 (windmillss at LPPS): fixed Issue 5: fixed: I have Airport name "Madeira Airport - Cristiano Ronaldo" Issue 4: partially fixed only: if I start at LPPS at night, the lighthouse near LPPS has a flashlight, but when I fly to Madeira the lighthouse there has no flashlight. if I start at LPMA at night, the lighthouse near LPMA has a flashlight, but when I fly to LPPS the lighthouse there has no flashlight Issue 6 (Truck): this appeared in v1.04 (I already reported this at the time). I do have it in 1.05a. Issue 7: Porto Santo: I do have the weird water triangle, but I don't have the land triangle just off the beach. Issue 8: LPPS disappearing runway texture: I don't have it.

    It's disappointing that issue 2 It's an old one actually. If you start a flight out of Porto Santo (LPPS), no matter what, one will not have windmills. In order to display the windmills you need to first load your flight at LPMA (Madeira) and then switch back to Porto Santo (LPPS). is back in v1.05a, as we both reported that for v1.04 in this post:
  13. Yes, but I am busy at the moment, ie I sleep 20 h a week from Sunday to Friday. I put back v1.04, and I did have PAPI problems in v1.04. See the video below, which shows clearly the bugs I have: (for Madeira X Evo, I did at least 6 videos over the different versions) the problems: 1. The PAPI lights fade, disappear, reappear during the day... 2. During the night, the PAPI lights are OK, but a bit blurred sometimes... 3. If, after the night, we select the day, the PAPI lights are buggy again, and the 3D lights at the airport are ON! The 3D lights go off if we get close... If we end the flight, then start a new flight in Madeira, the 3D lights at the airport remain ON during the day. For these 3D lights to be OFF during the day, we need to close then restart FSX SE! Have these bugs been fully addressed in v1.05a? Sorry I am falling asleep at my PC...
  14. Yes I do realise this. "I really hope there will be one error free installer / scenery in future ;-) " to me means to get an error free installer / scenery in the future, because until now, this scenery caused me a lot of time wasted due to the bugs. I still have problems with PAPI lights for example. But I don't have the time to spend on this at the moment I wish in the future not to have bugs.

    Hi Oliver, Yes, with new LPMA_OBJ-Ground.BGL, the white markings are back. Thank you. I also copied the LPMA_RWY-PAPI.BGL file to fix the PAPI lights, but problems remain in Madeira X Evolution v1.04. 1. The PAPI lights fade, disappear, reappear during the day... 2.     Hi Luis, Yes I have the same poor mesh there too. For the PAPI lights we have to wait for a fix in FSX SE... I will try the rar to fix 3D lights. For lack of white markings on the LPMA runway, I am not the only one, see this german post:

    Details: 1. By day the PAPI lights disappear then reappear, both 05 and 23 sides when getting closer to the runway: so, this is a bug. 2. If then, you select the night time, the PAPI lights work fine: they do not disappear/reappear. The volumetric lights close to the airport buildings are fine. 3. If then you select the day time, the PAPI lights again disappear then reappear, both 05 and 23 sides when getting closer, and the volumetric lights close to the airport buildings are ON! They go OFF if you move closer to them, and get back ON if you move away from them. This is another bug. And we can again see that the white marking are still missing (they appear in grey). Also, there is a lorry embedded at the top of the slope near the middle of the runway. Video from 4:19 to 4:55. I hope my recent posts will help the developers for future improvements.     Hi Luis, I will check what you mention above tonight when at home. I also have that partially hanging big building. Looking at your last picture, it seems the runway at LPMA has no white markings, they are instead very faint/grey. And the centreline is darker. Watch my video in post #159 here:

    In /scenery/world/scenery, I have only AFX_LPMA_ALT.BGL date modified 22/05/2017 time 12:00. No other lpma there. Has anything changed about lpma files in VECTOR? As I said, the white markings were fine in v1.00 to 1.03. I just don't know what to do now...

    Hi Oliver, At home now. So I put all in 1 post: easier to read. As I wrote in my sentence in bold in post #159 (where I ask also if SODE is needed, which I am still asking...), I have FSX SE: from fsx.exe: file version: 10.0.62615.0 product version: 10.0.62615.0 (FSX.20150710-1055) I have no other addon for Madeira. I used to have the old Madeira from Aerosoft till a few months ago: could the uninstaller of the old Madeira have left some files in FSX\World\... folder? But why didn't I have any black center with EVO v1.01, v1.02 and v1.03, and all the white markings were fine? I have Orbx Vector, but it doesn't seem to cause problems. Also, there is no white markings anywhere on the runway, not only the center. The white markings are replaced by lighter grey markings, so we can see where the white markings are supposed to be. Point 3. Where the gap was in v1.03 (cliff near Machico), from far enough, we get "climbing water cliffs" that get fixed when getting closer: this can't be my mesh, as it is set at 1 meter, as advised. This was perfect with your EVO v1.02, and there was a hole with v1.03. Regards
