  1. Hi, I installed v1.04. Thank you for the configurator, which comes handy. I appreciate the improvements, but I have the following issues: 1. Where are the white markings on the runway?2. The PAPI lights disappear/reappear when getting closer to the runway, on both 05 and 23 sides3. Where the gap was in v1.03 (cliff near Machico), from far enough, we get "climbing water cliffs" that get fixed when getting closer 4. Minor issue: there is a lorry "embedded" on the slope near the middle of the runway. See video from 01:16 to 01:18 I understand SODE is no longer necessary for v 1.04, as there is no difference if I start FSX SE with or without SODE. Am I correct? See the "quick and dirty" video below: Regards, Raymond
  2. Take all your time, to get it as perfect as possible.
  3. Sorry just saw your post now. Indeed you are right: in v1.00 or 1.01, there was the crash in v1.02, they fixed the problem, and there was no crash in v1.03, the crash is back! In fact, there are crashes in several places, even at 1800 ft... It seems when a developer changes things near the airport, some invisible things are moved or created, causing the crash. For us, it seems a problem coming back, but it may be a slightly different, new problem from the previous crash... Frustrating for both customers and developers. They are aware, and working on it. In the meantime, in put back v1.02. See page 6 of this mega post:
  4. Yes Christian1974, I have them; see my post #8...
  5. Thank you for the info. As long as it's fixed in v 1.04 it is fine. In the meantime I go back again to v 1.02.
  6. Hi Oliver, I reinstalled v 1.03 to investigate: With birds.off the "crash effect" sadly remains.
  7. Yes I can see, but you have Prepar3D, and I have FSX SE (I only have the Steam edition of FSX). Installs are different in the different simulators... lpma_apttfc.BGL is in ...\FSX\Aerosoft\MadeiraX2016\Scenery Yes I have ORBX FTX Global and ORBX Vector too.
  8. I have good performance in v 1.02 with lpma_apttfc.OFF. In v 1.03 (that I just reinstalled), I get ~ 12 FPS at the airport with lpma_apttfc.BGL active... Everywhere else (in the world) I get at least 30 FPS. I can't understand. lpma_apttfc.BGL is in ...\FSX\Aerosoft\MadeiraX2016\Scenery I found the windmills in Porto Santo.
  9. I saw all the updates in the different versions. I was happy with v 1.02, and had therefor big hopes for v 1.03. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with v1.03, because: - there is a hole/gap on the cliff/road between airport and Machico (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02) (my settings is 1 meter. I have the same settings as for v 1.02)- weird shadows on runway 23 side (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)- aircraft hits something above/around runway 23 side in different locations/altitudes, even with Crash detection set to OFF. (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02. This was present in v 1.01 or v 1.00, was fixed in v 1.02, but sadly re-appeared in v 1.03!) Also, something has changed in lpma_apttfc.BGL: it seems the road traffic around the airport is not in lpma_apttfc.BGL now. Explanation: In both v1.02 and v1.03, I had/have to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because it lowers FPS: (and I have a high end PC, see PC specs below) In v 1.02, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~15 FPS (bad), if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~35 FPS (good). In v 1.02, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I have no road traffic around the airport. In v 1.03, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~10 FPS (very bad), if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~20 FPS (not that good). In v 1.03, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I still have road traffic around the airport. So, the road traffic around the airport is in another BGL. Questions: In which BGL is the road traffic around the airport? What is in lpma_apttfc.BGL? Also, I couldn't see the newly added windmills in Porto Santo. Where are they on that Island? For all those reasons, I had no choice than to uninstall v 1.03 and put v 1.02 back. Considering the time I had to spend reading the forum, uninstall, reinstall, make videos, write posts, I think 25 euros is quite expensive. If, however, I would get a product without bugs, I would personally be very happy to pay 60 euros (yes sixty)! I do believe you. That must be frustrating for you too, I realise that. I wish you all the best, and hope all these problems to be fixed in the next version. 10. There is another crash effect near the middle of the runway at around 700 or 800 feet altitude, I now remember (that is not in my video because I flew too low).
  11. Hi Oliver / Masterhawk, I confirm I have FSX SE, with crash detection set to OFF (because we have to), so the flight will not end, but aircraft do hit several hidden things in different places, hence the crash effects in different places. Not good to do videos showing these weird effects. If you watch my whole video in my post above (that I made in order to help...) you will see the different places. I did that video to help, it's better than long explanations. This problem was gone in v1.02, so I uninstalled v 1.03, and put back v 1.02 for the time being. I hope this will be solved soon, and not come back. No, my video is in FSX SE only. I have the mesh set to 1 m as advised.
  12. Watch my video in the post above from 00:03 to 00:39. It seems it's only in slew mode, fortunately.
  13. OK, I see.
  14. I have FSX SE only. For road traffic around the airport, see my posts above. For aircraft traffic at the airport, I never had any: I think it is by design, not to cause problems with other aircraft traffic addon.
  15. Christian1974, I agree, some problems that were solved in 1.02 are back. But something has changed in lpma_apttfc.BGL: it seems the road traffic around the airport is not in it now. Explanation: I had/have to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because it lowers FPS: In v 1.02, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~15 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~35 FPS. In v 1.02, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I have no road traffic around the airport. In v 1.03, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~10 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~20 FPS. In v 1.03, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I still have road traffic around the airport. So, the road traffic around the airport is in another BGL. Questions: In which BGL is the road traffic around the airport? What is in lpma_apttfc.BGL?
