  1. Watch my video in the post above from 00:03 to 00:39. It seems it's only in slew mode, fortunately.
  2. OK, I see.
  3. I have FSX SE only. For road traffic around the airport, see my posts above. For aircraft traffic at the airport, I never had any: I think it is by design, not to cause problems with other aircraft traffic addon.
  4. Christian1974, I agree, some problems that were solved in 1.02 are back. But something has changed in lpma_apttfc.BGL: it seems the road traffic around the airport is not in it now. Explanation: I had/have to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because it lowers FPS: In v 1.02, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~15 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~35 FPS. In v 1.02, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I have no road traffic around the airport. In v 1.03, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~10 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~20 FPS. In v 1.03, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I still have road traffic around the airport. So, the road traffic around the airport is in another BGL. Questions: In which BGL is the road traffic around the airport? What is in lpma_apttfc.BGL?
  5. Hi, I installed v 1.03 on Friday 21 April, and found the following issues: see the video below. I spent some time on this, to try to help... NB: as I found the following 3 issues within minutes, I stopped investigating, so there may be other issues I didn't see. I have FSX SE only. - there is a hole/gap on the cliff/road between airport and Machico (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)- weird shadows on runway 23 side (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)- aircraft hits something above/around runway 23 side in different locations/altitudes, even with Crash detection set to OFF. (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)Settings is 1 meter. I have the same settings as for v 1.02. Also, in v 1.03 I had to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because otherwise I only get 10 FPS. In v 1.02 I got 15 FPS with lpma_apttfc.BGL. See my PC specs at the end of this post. In v 1.03 without lpma_apttfc.BGL I get 20 FPS. In v 1.02 without lpma_apttfc.BGL I got 35 FPS. Question: in Porto Santo, where are the windmils? None of these problems were in v 1.02. See this topic, with a video made using v 1.02: (NB: I uninstalled v1.03 and reinstalled v1.02, and the issues I described above are gone) My PC specs: - Intel Core i7 5960X Haswell-E 8-Cored 3.50GHz Processor (Overclocked to 4.3 GHz) - Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99 Motherboard - 64GB Crucial DDR4 2133MHz Memory (8 x 8GB sticks) - Asus GeForce GTX 980 TI 6GB STRIX OC Direct CU II - 512GB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: OS and programs - 2TB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: sims - 2 Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive in RAID 1 Configuration - Corsair AX 1200i 80 PLS Platinum Modular 1200W PSU - Creative Sound Blaster ZX Gaming Soundcard - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
  6. Hi, I installed v 1.03 today, and found the following issues: see the video below. 7. Madeira X Evolution v1.02: the runway disappears in FSX Replay mode. It reappears when stopping replay. Video:
  8. Thank you Mateusz. Take your time to do these improvements.
  9. It adds traffic at LPMA. It does add road traffic around the airport. But I wonder if it adds other traffic at the airport itself, as FPS go from ~34 to ~17. I think only MK-Studios know.
  10. In Madeira airport, I have low FPS when lpma_apttfc.BGL is active, with road traffic set at 16%: FPS are around 17 FPS, with a few lows of 6, and highs of 25. There are cars around the airport, but it is no traffic jam! When lpma_apttfc.BGL is INactive, with road traffic still set at 16%, FPS are around 34FPS, with a few lows of 16, and highs of 48. That is why I keep lpma_apttfc.BGL inactive most of the time. Any idea to keep lpma_apttfc.BGL active, but with more than around 17 FPS? My system: - Intel Core i7 5960X Haswell-E 8-Cored 3.50GHz Processor (Overclocked to 4.3 GHz) - Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99 Motherboard - 64GB Crucial DDR4 2133MHz Memory (8 x 8GB sticks) - Asus GeForce GTX 980 TI 6GB STRIX OC Direct CU II - 512GB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: OS and programs - 2TB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: sims - 2 Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive in RAID 1 Configuration - Corsair AX 1200i 80 PLS Platinum Modular 1200W PSU - Creative Sound Blaster ZX Gaming Soundcard - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
  11. Thank you Mateusz,
  12. ... in a T45: video in 1440p, so watch in full screen, in as best HD as possible NB: this is Madeira X Evolution v 1.02 Enjoy!
  13. Just to help more: Many ORBX VECTOR users had problems updating to Vector v 1.51 using FTX C v3, but for me the update using FTX C v3 was fine: I could use AEC without problems once v 1.51 was installed. It took 27 minutes to update and have v1.51 installed. At this point, even though just an update (but of course it will want to have all files), the files mentioned in my post #1 were back, so I fixed them manually, as in the Mesh Mega Topic point 4). After reading many posts in Orbx forum, that it was better to uninstall Vector completely and reinstall the whole Vector, I did just that! Oh dear! So what I did: I downloaded the whole zip: (Orbx direct: "Manual download The preferred way to download this product is with the "Download via FTX Central" button above. However, if you are unable to download the product via FTX Central, you can use the MANUAL DOWNLOAD ...") Then I reinstalled using FTX C v3, using: Version 1.51 Installation Options then: Install from my manually downloaded .zip go into the folder, and click on the .zip (now named better: _fulFTXVECTOR151.zip), then click 'continue'... FTX C v3 then, under "Current Progress", first checks the licence (~ a minute), then "Checking files to update..." (~ a minute), then extracts for around 25 minutes: there are thousands of files... Just be patient. To see that it works well, you can open explorer, type %temp%\Orbx and you are in: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Temp\Orbx and there will be 2 folders: 1 folder with a copy of the .zip (size: like the .zip: ~ 8.69 GB) 1 folder named "ftxg-vector_............................." where files will get extracted, that grows over time up to 13.2 GB: right-click it, Properties, and you will see it gets bigger, so all is fine. Just be patient. So, around 22 GB space at least must be available, usually on C: for users who haven't set the Temp folder onto another drive, to install Vector! If not it fails to install! Then, FTX C V3 installs (copies) the files in the simulator ...\your simulator\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR, removes the 2 folders in ...\AppData\Local\Temp\Orbx ("Cleaning up..."), and then "Product is installed" appears. The full install of Vector lasted for 30 minutes. Then, you need to run AEC, because Vector is brand new. That is another few minutes. Finally, do point 4) in page 1 of Madeira Mesh Mega Topic. That is what I did (I recorded the whole thing with ShadowPlay; yes don't ask, I am mad , but at least I have proof of what happened, in case...), and Madeira X Evolution was fine. But to make sure, I unistalled/reinstalled Madeira X Evolution. The whole process, well, just took my Friday evening! If you are still alive, you can go flying...
  14. Hi, I just updated Orbx Vector to v1.51. I checked in ...\FSX\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT and ABP_LPMA_Default.bgl and ABP_LPPS_Default.bgl were back! So, I removed them again to avoid the problems we all know too well. Also: ORBX/FTX_VECTOR/FTX_VECTOR_CVX/scenery and change all file extensions beginning with 4320 (there should be 17 files) See point 4) in page 1 of Madeira Mesh Mega Topic. I hope it helps.
  15. Thanks for confirming this, which I thought was the case. I wonder why it is not the case in this new version... Also, if you read Mathijs post: it appears there wasn't some AI traffic included, after all. I am confused now...
