    Ahh well then we can only surprise you! The fun thing though is that I do not consider this project late. I would have liked to have released this project late last year, but that would have been without a complete lighting (17 different lights in the VC, 16 dimmable) that have been seriously requested by customers. That's 5 weeks of work there. We also inserted rain and other window effects because customer made it clear they considered it important. At least 3 weeks lost there (things did not start out smooth). Then we ran headlong into a major issue with a bug in the sim. It took us 10 days to understand what was happening and to confirm it was not our own fault. It also meant that we can't release until Lockheed releases the fixed version. In the meantime we had some issues like me forgetting about holidays and the fact people like to spend that with family and a professional project that will make us more than this project ever will. All in all I am very happy with progress. Seeing that we came from very old 32 bit XML code to a complete new platform that will serve us for many years professionally and commercially I am not at all stressed. Sorry that you are though but there is little I can do about that. There are other airbusses available and I am sure those companies will be happy with your business.

    I understand your point of view. but look at it from our side. FSX is close to a decade old, full of bugs and no longer supported in any way (even Dovetails have given up). At any moment a Windows update could kill it because it is based on code that is 20 years old and not even close to using a modern DirectX version. So it does not surprise us that most customers want to move to a new platform that is supported, growing and future proof. Besides we feel we have a very competitive 32 bit version. In it's price class there is nothing that comes even close. That said, we will look at 32 bits when the time comes, no decision has been made. But understand that time is not on the side of 32 bits.

    thanks good i move to P3DV4 froms FSX. To all customers, i know its hard when you have spend to much money, like me. But you can always have both, but when your try V4 you will only want fly on V4 not FSX any more.

    I'll have to guess that you're not familiar with the length of time it takes for similar projects by other developers (I promise you that I wouldn't have made that comment unless I was keenly aware of that). Regardless, I am very sorry to hear you have lost hope, especially given that everyone is working as hard as they are able on this complex project. Anyway, if you must go then please go with our very best wishes.

    No, it is decided. The "update" path is undecided, meaning the A318-21 line. The A330 is not an update but a complete new product. It will be released in a 32bit and 64 version. Nothing else has been said in this topic.

    Honestly I can't wait for this to be released and to see how many A319 & 18's flying throughout Europe on VATSIM

    It was indeed talked about and we already experimented with it, however the human eye is trained to tell exactly what a human is and what not. If we'd put a copilot who really looks like a human into the right seat all your neaty 1080Tis will be brought to their knees, just like your fps. Hardware is getting better and better, just compare what we thought would look 'as real as it gets' 10 years ago to what we have now and you'll immediately see a big difference. Now in another 10 years things may have changed considerably and we may even have the children asking to take a look into the flight deck after landing. That's a thing for the future however.

    Mathijis, First: you're a class act. Really love the transparency in your posts, and your genuine passion for what you do. Second: I *thought* I read in the past in this topic that in addition to 3D objects like the newspaper, coffee cup, etc, there might be a 3D pilot in the cockpit as well. Was this a dream I had, or was this actually planned? I've tried searching for the past 15 minutes and I can't come up with anything, which leads me to believe I should be on my way to the looney house.

    Indeed this weekend! [edit: this was an answer to a previous question in the topic] As said we had some serious discussions about what to release, when to release and in what order to release. Here is the outcome. Of course the major questions is at what date 1. will be. But I simply do not know that. There is a big professional project about to drop that includes the A321 that could throw things off kilter. If you feel uncomfortable using software that might still have issues I sincerely advise you to step in at 3. As explained, these are not updates, they are almost complete new projects and we have many many hours of testing to go. A318/A319 Professional 14 days in between A320/A321 Professional 5 weeks in between A318/A319 Professional & A320/A321 Profession service Pack 1 This Service pack will replace the current PFD and ND with newer version that are better in resolution and designed to be used in 2d mode (the other gauges should already work in 2d mode at that time) Unknown periode in between, but we guestimate something like 4 weeks. A330 Professional Unknown period in between 318/A319 Professional & A320/A321 Professional & A330 Professional service Pack 2 Note we skip the A330 SP1 to keep the names uniform. This service pack will bring all aircraft to the same status and will update the smaller busses with the knowledge gathered in the meantime. After this we'll most likely add more A330 models (more engine types etc). If course, we'll always do hotfixes as soon as they are more or less stable. Decisions on updates of the 32 bit version has not been taken. We feel that the models we know have are highly competitive in their price range and downloads for the 32 bit platform have tanked totally. When we get to that moment in time we'll look at it again. Please do not ask about this right now as I am not going to say anything else then that we'll look at it after point 5. How updates are handled and at what price is listed in the first post on every page. We'll announce deals on the bundle this week. But don't worry, they will be as sweet as our other update options. The DC8 should be out before you fly busses. But that one is pretty close, such a lovely aircraft.

    Hallo Leute, ich muss leider feststellen, dass es immer schwieriger wird, dieses X-Plane Forum strukturiert und übersichtlich zu halten. Ich versuche natürlich immer mit "Verschieben" von falsch platzierten Topic Titeln zu regeln, aber es klappt nicht immer. Das Forum ist ja nicht mehr klein. Ich würde mich jedenfalls freuen, wenn alle daran mitarbeiten unser Forum hier klar und übersichtlich zu halten. Also erst einmal die Forum Struktur anschauen (wir haben z.B. ein Deutsches und ein Englisches X-Plane Forum), und dann möglichst an der richtigen Stelle einen neuen Topic mit dem jeweiligen Thema oder der jeweiligen Frage erstellen. Aus diesem Grunde habe ich das Forum so aufgeteilt. Und bitte immer für eine neue Frage auch einen neuen Topic aufmachen. Bitte nicht den Topic Titel eines anderen Users für ein neues Problem benutzen. Das findet kaum jemand, macht unser Forum unübersichtlich und es werden dann auch nur wenige diese Frage lesen, da sie ja nicht mehr zum Titel passt. Zum Titel (Thema) des Topics: Bitte beim Thema (Titel) darauf achten, dass er aussagefähig ist, so dass man am Titel bereits sehen kann, um was es geht. Einfach nur z.B. "Boeing 737" in den Titel schreiben ist zu wenig. Ein aussagefähiger Titel (der kurz das Problem enthält) macht es einfacher für unsere Kunden und User ein bereits diskutiertes Problem zu finden .... Und das alles macht mir die Arbeit hier etwas leichter Wenn mal etwas falsch läuft dann kann ich natürlich immer helfen und die Sache regeln. Wir wollen doch sicher alle hier, dass unser Forum für X-Plane 10 und 11 ein hilfreiches und interessantes und übersichtliches Forum bleibt. Wenn "irgendwo" und mit nicht klaren Titeln gepostet wird ohne auf das passende Forum/Unterforum zu achten, dann finden wir bald wichtige Beiträge nur noch sehr schwer wieder. Fragen werden dann auch nur noch spärlich beantwortet. Mir liegt dieses Forum am Herzen. Viele Grüße Heinz

    in einigen Wochen wird es ein Update mit kleinen Änderungen und auf Basis neuester OSM-Daten geben. Bis dahin hat jeder die Gelegenheit, Änderungen und Ergänzung in OSM einzupflegen. Manches fällt erst mit der X-Europe auf, hier leere Dörfer, dort falsche Gebäude, falsche Höhenangaben und und. Danach werde ich alle paar Monate ein Update machen. Und bald parallel an den Länderpaketen arbeiten. Mein Team bleibt mir treu, wir werden uns um die Alpen kümmern, andere Regionen werden (hoffentlich) andere erstellen.

    The AS Bus does need P3D v4.2 to work as intended but the release, of the Airbus, is in no way imminent. There is still some work to be done before it is complete.

    You mean, with all the rest of the VC you're just exploiting the weakness of our eyes? I won't be able to tell. My legs are grey, my ears are gnarled, and my eyes are old and bent. Peter

    Hi, most likely it is an installer issue. There are 4 airports using APC. Some installers check if there is already APC installed, if yes, they skip it. Unfortunately, they also skip adding airport specific files and entries to the APC folder. Check if you have the ResourcesEDDT.dll in your AirportController Folder. If this is your problem, best solution is to install an APC airport, make an backup of it's AirportController Folder, uninstall and go ahead to the next. When you have all backups, install all airports and copy back the missing files and edit the apc.cfg. Be aware there are different APC Versions: LKPR 1.05: 1.0.23.60715 LSZH 1.04: 1.0.23.60715 LDSP 1.43: 1.0.19.60602 EDDT ???? jetwaypatch: 1.0.26.60731 -> used during testing Attached my apc.cfg and a screenshot the APC folder. apc.cfg

    The limitation is basically in time. Technically it most likely is possible but it will cause a shit load of addtional work. Besides, in the A330 we have three MCDU's. Two will be 'real' one will be for the options. And that is why we decided to do the same for the smaller busses. The two MCDU's in the VC are 'real', a third MCDU will be pop up, looks like an MCDU and have the options. That way we have the same system in all busses and that is very much the key to being efficient. Ask Airbus Industries, they invented that idea.

    Indeed... That would be a good solution - if we want to wait a couple of months for that. Remember, that the EFB isn't being worked on currently. And yes, After a break from the forums, I'm back - for now... We'll see how it goes...

    Hallo, Delta777 nach der letzten Antwort (08.2017) von OP, sollte es für AES nach dem Herbst 2017 für FSX weitergehen. Du siehst ja selbst, still ruht der See. Keiner möchte 1 Antwort geben. Die Weiterentwicklung für FSX, soll sich nach "Angebot und Nachfrage" richten (Einstellung evt. mittelfristig) und die Weiterentwicklung für FS9 ist nicht mehr geplant. Mehr Worte braucht es nicht.     yep we still need the baggage cars for the beltloaders and container loaders hate them sitting around with no baggage on the belts etc GSX is away ahead on this part but i dont really like GSX

    Guyz, don't worry!No offense, really ! We're just putting clear what we think and expect. I perfectly well understand the point of view of Rupert. I don't think I will complete this diary in 2019 Rupert !!! Hopefully !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surely I'll need some further weeks ... months ???????? But I'm planning to arrive at London in two weeks from now.... Again, just writing the diary will need some extra time, for sure. We'll see. Rupert and nealmac a great thanx for your comments.     Hi if you need help with this PM me I will send you some photos and corrections, you've done a wonderful job with the camo but you need to modify a few things for accuracy, smaller flag and remove the triangle from the rudder fin, I can write you the word "Army" correctly.
